very few tennis player likes pickleball. Most of the tennis courts in USA also stated having pickleball lines made on top of it and people captures court for pickleball.

It's inexpensive, easy to learn and has a very social community. The hostility is hard to understand. If you don't want to play, don't play. Everyone is welcome!

Hostility is a strong word. Is suspect you mean people prefer tranquility to the surprisingly loud and annoying sound the pickle ball makes and voice those annoyances. Once they develop equipment that makes to noise tolerable, no one will care. I mean it’s harmless and is a great avenue for out of shape people to start moving again, which is great for their health.

@@jaquevius I'm a pretty high end athlete (for my age) and have dumped the Tennis snobs and lumpy loser Golfers for the all out friendly fun of Pickleball. I'm also still a Hockey Goalie and am thus at the top of the team sports pyramid! I have spoken. 😜

Yeah, I’m in my 50’s and I see a lot of people switch over from tennis after an injury etc. I play it about once a year on a guy trip and it’s really fun, so I see why it’s so popular. It doesn’t hold my interest enough to do it frequently but I can see how people really enjoy it. The only reason it annoys people is the surprisingly loud and annoying noise, otherwise why would anyone care?

No goodbye to golfers only tennis players. Pickle ball is a older people and more people are getting older. That is why. In my community in USA I already have 6 courts for pickle ball replaced by tennis courts but not golf.

That's just a silly statement. When your whole extended family can have fun playing together and that's just not usually possible with tennis, it makes for a very attractive sport. It has nothing to do with laziness. If you are a tennis coach losing clients, probably stinks...

Go watch pro singles pickleball and tell me its a layman's tennis. No ex pro tennis players in pickleball, such as Jack Sock and others, have won a single tournament so far
