Mali, Niger & Burkina Faso have signed a confederation treaty on Saturday, underscoring their desire to leave the West African bloc ECOWAS. ECOWAS met on Sunday and tried to make a case for the continued existence of the 50-year bloc. ECOWAS plans to create a counter terrorism squad and introduce a new currency. Will this be enough to bring back the junta-run Sahel states?

I believe because Indians who were running their companies in those countries without respecting the country's policies are now obligated to respect. So they could get things freely like before but not now that's why she is trying hard to find a way to criticise them at the time she doesn't want anyone to criticise their authorities. Unless we're satisfied with the direction our leaders are leading us.

The breakaway of the three the Sahel states is a big blow to Mr Tinubu Asiwaju as current chairman of ECOWAS. This disgrace will go down in history as Tinubu's legacy in ECOWAS, which may not be different from what is going to happen in Nigeria. Just a matter of time. The fact that ECOWAS Head's of state decided to elect Tinubu who was still in court trying to know his fate following an election that was described internationally as undemocratic (not free or fair) was proof that the Group of corrupt rulers in ECOWAS were not serious.

Also the Eco just as the CFA are made in France, linked to the Euro, and the french have they say in anything concerning the currency. No decision can be taken without the french representative agreement. This to say that the project will only change the name and carry the same problems.
