Super surprising how Nick changed on Lamar and the Ravens. Pretty sure he had them excelling on the new draft pick and the new OC.

Nick is flat out skeptical of Lamar's ability as a passer. Even though he initially supported Lamar, that was just against the ignorance that said Lamar should move to WR. But when push comes to shove, he's a sketpic just as much as Eric Mangini about Lamar's ability to succeed in a high volume passing offense despite him having better weapons than he's eer had in his career. The truth is Lamar's ceiling with those new weapons and new scheme, is ironically the only ceiling high enough to legitimately challenge Mahomes for best QB in the league the next 5 years.

@@truthbearer7891I can't stand Nick but tbf being skeptical of Lamar as a passer is fair. He's only had one year of 3000 yards passing. People question hurts ability to pass (he's young and it's early fair I suppose) but he's already thrown for more yards than Lamar has in a season. Lamar hasn't had the weapons but even then I'm not sure Lamar is that guy passing.

So, basically, because Brock Purdy isn’t a running back, he can’t be the MVP?? I thought a QB was supposed to facilitate the drives and pass the ball..?? Now we’re saying because he doesn’t throw the ball sideways or behind his back that he’s not a game changer or MVP candidate… but Steve Young said it best that if you have to do that crazy nonsense then your team needs to be fixed and better because that should never have to happen to give your team a winning chance.
