They tie bags in the first place because they don't want rainwater ruining the food (it rains a lot in the UK). And the reason they tie it so TIGHT is because there are Karen's who are so incompetent at holding tied bags that they still manage to spill their food while walking or while standing on a train, and then they march back to the shops and throw a fit, while leaving negative reviews online. There are always stupid people who find a way to ruin things for the rest of us. By the way, I just made all that shit up.

OMG. We have that guy here across the pond as well. Getting fried chicken take away, the styrofoam box lid has tabs to push open to let out steam. Open? No, mate. Plastic bag left open? No, mate. Crispy fried chicken at home? No, mate.
