"Salt water crocs scare me more than sharks." As well they should. Crocs have been exposed to humans long enough to understand that we are eatable.

Sharks can't digest our bones very well at all. We're a waste of energy. Crocodiles can dissolve iron nails. So there's that.

I mean to be honest it’s generally a good idea to get out of the water and out of the way of a shark if your just some rando swimmer. Even if the shark is not specifically after you its just polite not to get in its way.

The clip of the guy complaining about the shark frenzy really pissed me off. They purely want to eradicate sharks so they stop stealing their catches.

At 4:15 that's actually not tonic immobility but actually RAG which is basically when a shark is mad about not catching a prey and doesn't want to take out the frustration on another shark. Shark bytes mentioned it in a video. Edit: Thanks for the likes, and RAG stands for Repetitive Aerial Gaping by the way.

The big aquarium in Osaka, Japan they have a massive deep salt water exhibit full of hammerhead sharks, lots of different types of rays and some type of whales. The rays seemed pretty confident but I wonder how often the sharks snack on the rays like at 8:50 lol

Should check out the TheMalibuArtist channel. He does drone videos of great whites off the California coast to study natural behavior of the fish with no people around. The Hammerhead eating the stingray in the aquarium reminded me of another aquarium discovering that the Giant Pacific Octopus they had was the reason the sharks were disappearing from the tank at night.

As far as I know crocodiles are one of the few creatures on the planet which will pick humans as one of the top items on their menu if given the opportunity. They don't generally consider humans weird and bad for eating, the way a lot of other animals do.

The Nile crocodile is a classified man eater. They’re very aggressive. The ancient Egyptians used to keep them in temples. Or rather they just let them come and go. Sobek’s temple naturally being the god of crocodiles. They’d even deck them out with drip

STOP 😂 Not the pelican being yoinked off the surface of the water 😭 I saw the same thing happen in person when I was 8 years old while visiting family in Florida 😂 I felt sad for the pelican, but I was mostly just in awe of how fast it happened and how cool it was, being a kid from a mostly landlocked Province in Canada, I had never even seen a shark outside of an aquarium before 🦈
