Fish & Chips: Best in West Midlands? (2022)

2 жыл бұрынI went on a quest to find the best fish and chips in the UK and luckily there are two places in the West Midlands that were awarded in the top 50 fish and chip takeaways. I tried the food from both places. They were an hours drive from each other but it was totally worth it!

Sorry, but for me the best fish and chips in the West Mids is (and will always be) Dads Lane Fish Bar. The fish there is completely perfect! Thanks for these recommendations though - I will definitely check them out sometime! Further afield, I know you went Kent-way for yours, but there are some truly incredible fish and chips in the South West. Hanburys in Torquay, The Fish Shed in Topsham, Harbour Seafood in Plymouth, and Harbour Lights in Falmouth all were fantastic. Best is Millers in York though - don't think that could ever be topped!

Thanks Kennus. I was a little surprised Dads lane fish bar didn’t make it to the top 50. I reviewed them on my page very early on! Love the recommendations you have given and I have actually tried harbour lights in Falmouth! They are pretty special!

@@s.c7105 not at all! I always love reading your comments! I remember ratemytakeaway when he had less than 16k. He shot way up now! There are other food channels bigger and more consistent than us, but we do our best. We recognise those subscribers that stay loyal to the channel and keep supporting us. That’s what’s helps us going 😊❤️

What kind of fish do they use. Here if u ho for fish n chips is always white cod

It’s normally either cod or haddock. But most times people go for cod
