I have a group of 5 juvenile Geo Tapajos all around 2 1/2 to 3 inches in size give or take. At what point would you say you can properly vent them? I’ve only done it once now and they all look very close where it’s to hard to tell. Keep up the awesome work!! Thanks for helping my brain grow with so much fish knowledge lol much appreciated!

🚨🚨 I found that if I move the more hyper/faster swimming fish at night that they accumulated to the newer/bigger tank much more easily.👍🏽 the darkness seems to be calming to them. hope that bit of advice is of some help.

New fish can be that way. I wouldn't stress about it. Once they gain some confidence they usually come out (especially when they start to associate you with food).

These fish are beautiful and fascinating. But I am always concerned that too many fish, and large fish at that, are in too small a tank. It is a question in my mind, and not a criticism. Is there a way of determining how much tank space larger fish need? Is it dependent on the species?
@PrimeTimeAquatics
@PrimeTimeAquatics 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, generally it depends on the fish - adult size, activity level, etc.
