I have Murray River Rainbowfish (Melanotaenia fluviatilis)
@HopeB55558 минут бұрын
This is an old short so idk if you'll see this, but I'm looking to get a group of peacock gudgeons for my fluval flex 32.5. Could I get away with 6 with 10 gertrudae rainbows and 8 or so pygmy corys? Or should i stick with 3 gudgeons?

I love them, but contrary to my other fish, they dont live long usually. Seems to me they are more susceptible than other kinds of even rainbows, few of them growing tumor like structures. Water parameters and other fish being fine, i suspect something of an overbreeding effect maybe. Writing from europe / switzerland

There are no permanent tankmates for Angels, not even themselves make good tankmates with one another. The second they start laying eggs, people will wonder why they even got the Angel name in the first place. They are a terribly awkward fish to begin with, too weak to keep together with its cichilid cohort, yet too fierce and aggresive to keep in any community tank permanently.

We’ve hardly ever had issues with them. Kept them for 40 years.

A combination of aquascape and the fish in my opinion, although for me the fish are the main part...but the scape should definitely conpliment them too!

Got 10 of them today.

I bought this filter recently the only thing I’m worried about is if the flow would be too strong for a 10 gallon
@PrimeTimeAquatics9 сағат бұрын
Ya - it might be for a 10 gallon.

🤗 Everything and all the above !! 👍 🤔What is that blue green algae towards the end that is growing on the wood . I have the same problem . Is it ok to have or does it cause Nitrates to go up ?
@PrimeTimeAquatics9 сағат бұрын
It’s ok to have it. Algae lowers nitrate concentrations.

I'm going to order some blue shrimps should I keep them separate from my tetras??
@PrimeTimeAquatics9 сағат бұрын
Depends on the tetras, but that’s usually the safe route to go - keeping them separate.

I have gotten into shrimps and I have mystery snails. Lately the mystery snails I've gotten have died as babies. I do have three. I have about six shrimp but I'm worried my tetras are eating them. Tetras are my husbands favorite but not mine. They are all in a 20 gallon tank. Should I set up my other five gallon tanks for my shrimp until they get bigger so my tetras won't eat them? I don't even want the tetras I'm fine with shrimp and snails. What should I do.

Thank you for this. Can you explain how you get the white/fungus-infested eggs out? Also, how long was the male setting when you made this video?

I use a pipette.

I like a nice aquascape, clear water, no visible algae, and healthy happy fish to complement it.
