Hi, I made this video ages ago and never uploaded it so thought I'd do so now. It's just a troubleshooting video of a Fisher and Paykel Condenser dryer. Had me a little stumped for a while but in the end it just needed a new motor start capacitor.
Symptoms for this repair are the bowl not turning. A humming sound is also present.

Thanks for the video and the walk through! helped me to replace my capacitor. FYI i ordered an 8UF and when i opened it up, it was a 6UF. All good, luckily the capacitor i ordered was higher by a bit and works fine.

@@AshSatoshi489 Ah I get ya. Your a fridge mechanic? Whow! I need one of those. Did you see the video of the 6 bar fridges I found a while ago? Someone snipped the gas lines at the back before dumping them. Can't believe it. @@DIYDumpRat so what happens is the recovery centers/recyclers can't accept any equipment with gas in it. And they cant release the gas because the Australian Refrigeration council would shut them down. So the people dumping them will cut the lines and say they have no gas. its usually a commercial businesses. Its not because they don't want someone else to have it lol
