I don't know. All these 'new' streams look an awful lot like the same stream. They're identical in character. Low lying. Woodland. Muddy bottom and banks. This many big trout in this kind of water? It's just not natural.

Awesome video Dusty! That creek was full of quality fish , and I’m sure you’ll be back targeting the ones that spooked or wouldn’t take ! For me it’s hard seeing what your seeing,like when they are following your lure ! You have polorized glasses on , and the reflection off the water makes it difficult to pick up fish! Overall this was an epic two part video and some stunners landed ! Good job buddy

Awesome video dusty ! Great catches and can tell you definitely care for the fish . When I hook one in the gill too it definitely hurts but it will happen once in a while . You did great holding them up and getting them back . You are doing great 👍 Those fish will continue to live and bite again. Many more to come with big mating trout in the water. Couple of them were really nice. Them popped waders are great on a hot day though huh 🤔 haha I wear the old ones in the summer on purpose.

Great video! Reminds me of my own trout fishing. I hate ruining a nice little hole with a snag but nice to now know I am not the only one it happens to. Water starting to warm up a lot here in Western Pa but I was out yesterday and caught 5 nice big healthy rainbows that fought well and released well. But weirdest thing is I had the same exact thing happen. A trout bled a bit although it wasn't hooked in the gills or deep and it appeared to be just fine after released. I watched it as best I could to make sure. I wonder if it is just due to warming water perhaps? 90 degree days with no rain for next week so trout fishing about done here. Keep up the great video's!

Love your content. Just started fishing in NE PA after years away from it. Questions: when you say plan B, is that a rubber worm or a real one? when you use your streamer I love the action and that it looks like a little minnow but is it weighted? like with a jig head, you seem to be able to cast it pretty far
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 Жыл бұрын
Appreciate the love man and glad you are enjoying! 🤙 Yes, my Plan B is an actual nightcrawler. I haven’t really use them much in the last couple years. I’ve been trying to stay straight artificial, switching up my Plan B now to the Streamer’s. And yes, my streamers are a weighted jig head basically with a Maribou tail, my good buddy actually makes them and gives me a few every now and then! Best of luck & Tight Lines boss! 🤙

Try something for me,instead of sight fishing don't be scared to cast around edges even if the water is low. Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they are not there. I'm not an expert but I think it will get you some more fish. Awesome fishing.

I’m not sure if you realize how many miles of trout stream there are in Pennsylvania but there is a lot…..I literally put on a couple miles of walking to get these fish that I got in this video! I don’t know what everyone’s infatuation is with not seeing people while you’re fishing a trout stream. I personally like it that way. Maybe take a note or two from this instead of try to cut it down & make it seem like “oh he’s only catching big fish because there’s no one else in the video”! I mean come on! Lol🤷♂️
@gregoryabbot4205 ай бұрын
These fish act like there's too many of them for this amount of water with not enough food to go round. But if there's not enough food, how did these 'wild' trout get so big without dying of old age first? In open, unregulated, unprotected water? It doesn't add up.

@@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 I know enough about fishing to know it’s not ethical to fish with barbed treble hooks when you’re releasing fish.
@CruiserlifestyleBlogspot Жыл бұрын
I think Tom does a decent job of handling the fish, always wets his hands and releases gently. It is important to release fish quickly and a net would help. Single barbless hook on the spinners would make them easier to unhook but the catch rate would go done. It's a fact that no matter how careful you are, some fish will die after being released.

Set your drag lighter.
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho26207 ай бұрын
Why would I ever do that! Lol
@PEARLRIVERLOUISIANA7 ай бұрын
@chasingthewildwithdustyrho2620 Because your pole is taking a LOT of the stress. You're more apt to lose the fish. Allowing the fish to move more naturally instead of reefing them in, will give you a much better chance of landing them. Pulling them in with "100% pole" and when they have full strength is risky. I constantly manipulate the drag throughout the fight. When I land them without a net, I also keep the pole very high and almost behind me.
