for taking me out again, and not throwing in the towel when fishing got tough. we started out trip on the west end with the croaker bite being slow. water temps rising had us rethinking our approach with the sun getting higher in the sky. felt like our time was running out. picked up some live shrimp and made the run to the jetty. luckily the trout were there when we showed up. size 10 treble and small slips shot. 🙌🏼 thanks for watching and God bless!

About time you get a fish bag.😂 waste time with a stringer when the bites on. Plus holds all your gear when heading back home. Don’t leave home with out it. Nice video. 👏

Great video. I am headed to Bolivar in October. Going to try the jetties when I am there. What size split shot do you use? Do you use different size depending on the current?

i don’t know the exact weight. i’ll used a medium some times a large. depends on the current yes, but it mainly depends on the size of shrimp. to keep that shrimp off the top. 🙌🏼

Also the size of the shrimp is key on the size of split shot. Some of those bigger shrimp are heavy and sink a bit better requiring a lighter weight and vise Versa. Sometimes the smaller baits need bigger weights 👍🏽 MORE VIDEOS. Lol it’s a tough bite summer bank fishing that’s for sure
