Hello folks,
This is my current fishing kayak setup. It’s everchanging but wanted to highlight some new gear. I include brands, not limited to, Bixpy,
Yakattack,Yakgear, Navarre kayak fishing,Yak-Power, Perception, Nocqua, Plano, Garmin, Kayak Kushion, Bending branches, Berleypro, and Harbor Freight!!
And of course it’s all on my trusty Old Town Sportsman PDL 120.

Nice setup! I have a Old Town Predator 132 PDL and a similar setup. Am getting ready to put a bixpy K1 on it via the power pole plate from Navarre. Tight lines and take care!

How did it go with the Bixpy and the Navarre mount? I have a K1 on order and am hoping it doesn't interfere with the rudder. Good luck out there!

@@79Rybred I have the Bixpy K1 Power Pole Adapter on the Navarre Mount and it does not interfere with the stock rudder. I also have the Bixpy universal rudder, and it works well two. Bixpy is great product and I am happy with the purchase. Hope this helps! Good Lock and Tight Lines!

Man that’s a great garage set up there! You’ve got your yak set up nice! Just recently purchased the anchor stick mount from Navarre. Will probably add the park n pole Roto grip on my double header like you have it, that’s a good idea.

Thanks bro!!! The anchor stick mount is definitely awesome for calmer conditions. I plan to use the anchor trolley for heavy current/windy conditions.

Nice build! Newbie question though - how did you route the straps for your kayak kushion? Do you have a slit at the back to feed it through?

I only use the strap that goes across the seat (perpendicular to the kayak) and tuck the other one under the cushion.

Do you think the triple shot transducer would mount under the kayak?

For the PDL 120, yes. From my fb forums, there’s a clearance issue for the 106 bc the ducer is so long but folks were able to mount it successfully to the 120. Check out the OT Sportsman PDL group on fb.

Did you use the rudder for steering? If so, did it steer okay being offset?

I did use the rudder for steering. It was okay. I ended up switching to an AutoPilot.

Are you still using the Navarre scupper hole mount for you 93sv transducer?

Thank you, sir. I just order one. I just installed a 73sv on my PDL 106 and dremeled the hell out of the mount to make it work. I'm still not comfortable on how low the transducer sits. Thanks for your content. I've fallen down the Wanna Fish All Day rabbit hole. Help. Haha.

Haha, thanks for supporting the channel! I haven’t had any issues with the mount. Side, down and 2D work with no issues. 73SV is awesome!
