this last winter Tampa Bay was loaded with nice trout brother. if we don't get rocked with a bad red tide this year you should come and fish for trout in January or February. tons of sheep head too in February.

Good stuff. My 18.5' Maverick Deluxe is powered by the Suzuki DF90A. I have to say it sips fuel. There is a class of Skiff owner obsessed with 50-60MPH skiffs, but I'm not one. The upside of the DF90A is while I can scoot at 34MPH when making longer runs to nearshore reefs, 4200-4500 RPMs is a beautiful 25MPH and at that pace and spin, it sips fuel. My Deluxe is an '88. I'm sure with the light weight of modern carbon composite components, you will see even better numbers than me.

East Cape makes a really nice boat and Kevin seems like a really good guy. I wish I would have ordered a boat from them when I ordered a boat 2 years ago from Blacktip boat works. After almost 2 years I finally got it 2 months ago but I haven't been able to use it yet because of all the problems with it, I've spent thousands of $ on it so for and still have more to go to make it right.

Hi Justin, love your videos, great information! Can you tell us more about the engine off button you have on your tiller? That looks really handy. And do you have some sort of extended shift lever?? I also have a 15'4" Highsider.

its just a standard 9.9 I believe the kill switch is pretty normal on a tiller.
