6 жыл бұрынA rare visit to a magic big Alpine lake: Lake Coleridge, Jan 2018.
It contains trout and land-locked Chinook Salmon, and, as you shall see, some fish that appear to be something between a Rainbow Trout and a Land-locked, Chinook salmon.
(I'm having it for supper tonight, poached in home-made "Tonic Wine" with a very wild, floral salad from the garden).

Beautiful looking out to mt oakden. A friend used to farm that. Haven't fished Coleridge for many many years, looked awesome

Nice pal. good to see you out and about fishing again .. interesting top color on it though.. never see one with that coloring before.. I would call that a spoon, as a spinner has a hood then body, maybe beads then clevis and a spinning blade... Just a thought ..

Thanks Man. New Zealand is just like a big version of Ireland, but with fewer people, more opportunities for us ordinary peasants, and a slightly milder climate. Keep up your fishing and diving and filming.
