After some repairs and maintenance on my 23' Bayliner Trophy Walkaround it was time to give her a sea trial. I had replaced the thermostats (4), sparkplugs (12), fuel and water separators (2), changed out both lower unit gear lube oil, replaced the port side electrical fuel pump and replaced the bad shifting cable. The boat ran well but I still have to adjust the idle and shifting cable.
The fishing wasn't great but I was able to out my son, Kallen, and a couple of brothers, Vin and Chummy, fishing on my boat out in the San Diego Bay. We had several missed bites with our baits coming back torn up or in half. Chummy was the only one who caught anything that day. Other kids wanted to come on too but I was the only adult and having too many kids to watch by myself was a bit too much and can be dangerous if you're not watchful. I had to tell Vin a couple of times not to hang out on the bow nor pulpit too much cause when the waves come hard the front is where it is affected by the movement most.
It was a fun day. After getting the boat on the trailer we stopped by the beach area close to the boat launch ramp where other people were eating, drinking, and relaxing.
I'll have to do the adjustments on my boat soon. Until next time that is it for now. Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe. It helps my channel grow. Fish on!
