Get you a small boat and hit the beach. You don't have to go very far offshore for big fish up there. I used to watch a kayaker off Destin catch all kinds of pelagics. I even saw him hook into a sailfish.

I was on a 120,000 dollar boat with 5 and 600 rigs fishing those anchored ships. One of the deck hands on the ship dropped a line with a Gatorade bottle as a cork and 2 pieces of bacon as bait and pulled up a monster cobia. We didn’t get anything 😂 😂😂😂. I’ll remember that as long as I’m alive.

You should have way more than 185K subscribers for being the GOAT of multispecies fishing. Great entertainment and learning. If you're reading this check and make sure you've subscribed. I'd love to see a challenge of documenting how many species you could catch in a year or maybe just a month.

Hey Bro! I watch your videos every day and love them! Would love to see you hit 500k! Suggestion: Do a giveaway and the winner gets to go out with you. Have everyone enter by doing 3 things…share, like and subscribe. You could not only do a free trip, but equipment giveaways too. This would really boost your subscribers. Also, we have a place to launch your boat if you ever need it. It’s over in County Rd 6 on the Bon Secour River. Where the river meets the Mobile bay. Blessings!

The first JC I ever caught was in a kayak, off the upper Texas coast about 1/2 mile out. Water was flat calm and clear. I didnt know what I had hooked. A huge swell came up beside my yak. I looked down and saw the fish I had hooked with a school of jacks in tow. Right behind them was a HUGE hammer head. Its head must have been 8' across. I almost cut the line but I didnt. An hour later and a mile out I landed the jack. The hook fell out, the hook was broke behind the barb.

Jack's truly are the strongest, baddest jokers of the water. Permits and pompano are Jack's like you said. Amber Jack's have a very close relative in socal and Baja that go by yellow tail. They are also in New Zealand and they go by kingfish down there. But they are all such hard fighters. I have caught all of them except an AP or permit. And I believe amberjacks are the king of the family. When you hook a 50 lb reef donkey you are in for a ride. They give you every ounce of fight they got. And almost always live by a hole to run to to.

Crevalle are very fun to catch in shallow water. They'll rake multiple runs out. Circle the boat. Very stout fish. A shame they're not better eating but we did eat some as a kid. Not too terrible sautéed in butter & garlic.
