yea even though nobody wanted the new one they still did it anyway couple years traffic will die and itll be the same outcome as last pier

I’m jealous of all the docks and bridges to fish in Pinellas. Hudson has Aripeka bridge. I haven’t had much luck since red tide started.

Worst time to fish is 2 PM. Start at dawn and quit at 8 AM.

It all depends on the tide.

@@CentralFloridaBowHunting Not so much at the Saint Pete pier. The tides are only around two feet and there is no channel that the tide runs through. The tides at the pier are hardly noticeable. You can get lucky and have good fishing at 2 PM but you can stack the deck in favor of yourself by fishing early morning.

@@dpetrov4c depends what your fishing for, for a good all around line id go with 20lb unless your targeting bigger fish than bump up to 30-40

I've been on google maps for like 25 min looking all near merry pier and there's no little pier or that bridge you're fishing by near that spot. can't find red picnic table or yellow wooden area like that. mind sharing that spot location?
