Pier Fisherman Catches FREE FISHING TRIP with Tampa Bay Guide!! Pt.1

It was a beautiful day for fishing, but I had no fishing friends available to go with me on this trip. So, I decided to do something unexpected and AMBUSH some pier fisherman at the Fort De Soto Park Fishing Pier and invite them along with me on a totally FREE fishing trip. They were totally shocked and excited this opportunity came to them. Both Andres and Lazz were extremely friendly as well as skilled fisherman.
First we ran down to Egmont Key and Fished for Spanish Mackerel with whitebait. The fish were swarming around the boat once I was able to chum them up. At one point all we needed to do was dip our baits in the water and the spanish mackerel would come up and smash them. It was an incredible bite. The biggest mackerel were 22 to 24 inches.
After we had our fill of fish at Egmont Key, we moved over to the Southeast Shore of Tampa Bay and hunted for snook and trout. We found a large oyster bed and began chumming with whitebait. Soon we had a nice snook on the line in the mid 20's. Shortly after that we thumped a nice 20 inch trout. The bite was on. We moved into a protected backwater and started chumming with live bait again. It wasn't long before the snook came out to play and began popping the bait that we threw out. Half a dozen more snook hit the boat before we called it a day and ran back to Fort De Soto.
It was an amazing experience we'll never forget.

I was fishing on the top of the Southern blvd Bridge 15 years ago. These 2 guys in a 21 foot CC were trying to net some bunker . With my help from top of bridge i was able to see the school from up on the bridge and instructed guy on bow where to throw on them. After 2 tosses they had hundreds of baits. They yelled up to me a big thank u. Next thing i know they asked if i wanted to go with them for a few hours. They grabbed me off the seawall and out the inlet we went. About 30 mins in we hook a nice sail and released it . his buddies first sail. Cool guys !! Great memories

Theres a bunch but a leopard siclids looks really cool. An dang I can't tell youve only bem here a few years you picked up alot the time youve been here. Do it man I am more freshwater but when I dish near the boat ramp I always hope someone will ask me while loading lol don’t feel it’s something you should ask if they’ll do. But fishing with company is always better unless they’re hogging all the fish haha

Do it! You could make someone’s day. I was fishing from the shore on West Point Lake in Georgia probably 10 years ago and had an older gentleman come up putting his boat in. The guy he was gonna fish with ended up canceling. He invited me out with him. We tore the bass up! It was a great day. Shared some great stories and had plenty of laughs. Bestfriends for a day. Saltwater and freshwater fishermen should do this from time to time.

I subscribed the moment I saw you give people a fishing trip. That is what fishing is all about. You didnt take your friends or flaunt your success, you simply gave back. Stellar move. My wife and I come there every year. Fort Desoto is our favorite. We came one year and I spent every dime I had at the time to take my wife out with a "captain". He told us we would be going out 20-40 miles. We went 2 miles out and he knew less than me. Would have loved to have ran into you. Thank you for blessing people. Thank you for your great comment. I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience. Unfortunately there are a few newbies out there who are not ready to be charter captains and need to put in a few more years of work getting on the fish. I am not originally from the area but have been a serious saltwater fisherman all my life. I landed in the area in 2014 and bought my first nice boat, then fished all the time, networked, explored, documented. I started my charter only once I was confident I could deliver the goods. These videos are bout making an impact on the community and bringing people an amazing surprise experience. We are trying to making great memories, friends, and customers. God Bless you too!

Well I mean, I was fishing on a small pier and a guy came along with a cast net (illegal where I live) and took up basically the whole part deep enough for fish, so sometimes that response is just. Although there was nothing wrong with what he was doing as he was keeping a fair enough distance and wasn’t getting in anyone’s way.

I gotta great Egmont Key story...Me & an old buddy went on a spontaneous camping/fishing trip to the island at about 8pm 1 night lol...we hit low tide going out & had to push about 100 yds or so then after arriving, pitching tents & starting a fire on the edge of the island we explored the island & old prison almost the entire night followed by being woke up by the wildlife officer & his kids on their golfcart @ sunrise.. He said you been here all night?? he couldn't believe it. He said you gotta pack your shit & go this is a bird sanctuary you can be fined for being here. ..lesson learned, don't put in @ low tide & don't camp on Egmont Key lmao

A few years back, I was living in TN and fishing for bass from a 21’ Fish & Ski boat. A couple times, when I was headed out solo, I would find guys fishing from the piers at the launch ramp and (if they seemed cool) I would ask ‘em if they’d like to join me. Every time someone did, it turned out they were good people. One time in particular (that I think of often) I picked up a father & son, much as you did except that each was about twenty years younger. I still always smile when I think of how happy that tyke was catching all sorts of fish with his Dad...

I used to go fishing around where these fishmen were. I also fished at the Fort De Soto fishing pier, but at the opposite pier. I also used to fish at the old Skyway pier, but I just got a membership to a boat club so now I'm gonna be able to actually go out on the water.

Hey buddy my name is James hey I've been fishing in the Tampa Bay Area since I was 15 I started fishing out of Anna Maria City Pier and became a celebrity out there for all my shark fishing and now I moved out the Parrish got married and got two kids and I've been trying to get my oldest son and to saltwater fishing I seem to be doing a good job at it because every time I speak about it or watch a video on it he's right there on my lap watching it as well hey buddy I appreciate everything that you're doing for the community and everybody that's out there that doesn't have the opportunity to get out there and do these things maybe one day I'll run into you and you can give me and my son the opportunity of a lifetime something that he could remember for the rest of his life and something that I can remember as well God bless you sir you have a great afternoon and a great night and God bless your family and I hope everything good comes to you

I would like to know who put a thumbs down ? Why because you didn’t go you wasn’t on the pier that day is that why ? What this person is doing is a excellent thing the world has so much pressure on us today this day and time lee up the good work Capt ...it’s costing this man money gas for the boat gas for the truck getting food for him out all day and not getting paid ..I would love to you 20 people that put thumb downs to go do it
