Great vid bro, Love fishing windy conditions with big shiners. We would also keep our dead natives, slide the bobber up about 3 feet from the hook, slit the belly of the shiner removing/popping the air bladder so they sink and let the wind and waves do the rest. Big bass on hot days to me don't like to chase. This technique keeps the bait moving slowly up and down in the strike zone, especially over deeper weed beds, making an easy meal for a big lazy bass. Never shy away from using dead bait!!!

Thanks man for watching! As for fishing with dead shiners like you I have a friend that says he catches big bass on them. Might have to try it one day!

I watch all of your video's. I fish the Kissimmee chain from January to May. I use shiners for the most part. What a blast. I caught my PB this year in Feb. 9.96 lbs. Caught fish on all 4 lakes but the big one came on Lake Hatch. Great video's.

@TheNorthFloridaAngler20 күн бұрын
If it hasn't rained very much I usually have to put my truck in four wheel drive to get up the hill from the ramp.
