My wife and I ran into you at Fort Morgan last week. Thanks for letting me check out your boat flooring. The jacks broke my son and me off four times out there. We were using inshore rods and 10-15# main line. It was fun. We started using heavier rigs and didn’t hook up. Great video

Look Bama, Jacks, Bonita and Blue Runners... You should be keeping a ST for bottom Bait snd Strips! Itll save money on bait not too Mention get a Ballyhoop and Casnet Mullet and Sabiki Pilchards, SandPerch/Silverbait ,Speedos, and GoggleEyes... Use A 65/35 Saltwater mix and freeze Bait.. it'll be Stiff and Fresh when you thaw them out.

I know a guide in North Florida. He called those big jacks Client Killers. I have hooked up on those just outside of Sebastian Inlet. They will pull my 17’ Key West in circles. Fun times. Wish I could post pictures.

I can say with the up most confidence that the JACK family of fish are the strongest toughest family of fish in the ocean. That means amberjack, permit, african pompano, amberjack and my favorite california yellowtail( which are basically yellow amberjacks that hang around the islands and kelp patties). Its unreal, i mean AJs nickname is reef donkeys and they earn it. I would spend a day tuna fishing off Socal and they 15 lb yellow tails you caught would fight harder than a 50lb blue fin or albacore. Just wanted to shout that out that that fanily of fish are studs.

So i don't really know motor boats well, more of a paddle fishing guy unless i get a guide. Anyways, the lithium battery that runs your trolling motor, does that charge when you are motoring or do you charge at home and when it's empty it's empty? Same with the battery to start your engine. Is that charged by the motor running like a car?

The lithium trolling motor battery is isolated and charged after each use. My main engine batteries are charged from the engine's alternator.

Okay hahha. they aren't terrible, they aren't perfect. The top loin (pinkish meat) is the best, rest goes for crab and shark bait. Cook like a tuna, sear it and it's not terrible.
