Denna båten byggdes åt min svärfars far fiskaren Albin Berntdtsson Nogersund 1950. Den var från början utrustad med en Säffle motor som inte höll. Motorn byttes mot ännu en Säffle motor som inte den heller höll, då satte Hundested motorn in 1958.

I count it runs as low as 100rpm at idle.You can see it about after 10 mins of this video.

I can see the small brass wheel is for throttle. Am I right in thinking the large lever is for a clutch and the big brass wheel changes the propeller pitch. The gear advantage of the large diameter makes it easier to change direction in close manouvers.

How efficient is this engine compared to something modern?

In terms of horsepower per fuel consumption in comparison with modern engines, terrible! But I'd still love to own a ship like that with that engine in it.
