Guess who's back...
I got my first Shimano reel, the Curado DC, and decided to try it out at a nearby juicy pond. The Curado DC is paired with a 2021 7'1" MH F St. Croix BassX rod. I end up catching a few largemouth bass and get a chance to try out my new Canon M50 Mkii!

The dual boxes are pretty nice compared to my old spooling setup... a cupholder 😵

Nothing like a dc! I have the 2021 scorpion dc 151 hg. Love it so much I want another, even though it’s totally unnecessary right now. I will likely pick up the new metanium shallow soon. Obviously not a dc, but it’s Shimano and a metanium, so it’s gonna be another awesome piece

@@jznv707 I have the curado on a 7'7" Heavy Phenix Feather. The rod is super lightweight and the action is more of a MH

I still use it when I go bass fishing, but it's been a while since I have.

Great video im new to baitcasting reels. Just bought the same one and I have 15lbs and 20lbs fluorocarbon the question is can it perform good on 20lbs??

I would imagine so. I've seen other anglers use much wider diameter line on this reel, 15# test is just my general preference for mainline fluorocarbon. Thanks for watching 🙏
