Thanks Cody.. and yes it was very rewarding to catch those bass.. I tied another orange belly with a couple of improvements to the way I molded the foam. I gave this latest one a better popping front profile.

That’s Amazing those Bass comin to eat pellets, Enjoyed watching you cast and catching fish, I gotta see how you tie that fly, I’m 65 and retired and started tying flies in April 24 this year and I’m Enjoying it, I’m in Louisiana and will do the same as you, fish for Bass and Bluegill

Another good video. Have a different type of question regarding what you wear when wading. Do you use waders or something else?

Wintertime thru spring I do wear waders, usually hip waders because I often walk for miles up and down rivers and creeks. When wade fishing a lake I will often wear chest waders until about this time of the year when it get too dang HOT! It will be wet wading from now until September

Thanks for the quick reply. Guess that means you’re not fishing. Hah. So do you have like a dedicated set of shoes/boots that your wear?
