Steelhead are my favorite to catch, but salmon are my favorite to eat. I haven't caught a salmon yet, and Oregon is going on lock down starting tommorow, so I won't really get to fish those spring salmon, but I'm gonna make up for all the time missed!

@@fishingwithmagnes4114 Yes! Salmon and steelhead are amazing to catch. Yeah this lockdown is crazy, but I'm excited to get into some Springer's as well... Hopefully the lockdown isn't to bad.

So do you use braid main line and tie on a floro or mono leader. Or straight braid to your lure?

I actually will do both options. When I feel the bass are being more skiddish or the water is cleare, I will use a flourocarbon leader tied to the braid. I'll typically use braid straight to lure on days the water is murkier or I feel like the bass are just attacking anything.

@@FTWQ sweet, i also use braid on all my rods except a couple trout, it's just so thin and has good cast ability and perfect for those hook sets. Thanks for the reply, have a good night.

I read the title of the video as "slamamander" and was like that is a boss ass name for a fishing lure. Nothing but disappointment after looking closer. Although I did enjoy the video all the same. 👍👍
