A Peri-anal fistula (bhagandar) is a small tunnel that connects an infected gland inside the anus to an opening on the skin around the anus. Inside the anus are several glands that make fluid. They get blocked or clogged. When that happens, a bacteria buildup can create a swollen pocket of infected tissue and liquid and this causes perianal fistula.

The most common fistula symptoms are pain, redness, swelling around the anus, bleeding, painful bowel movements or urination, and foul-smelling liquid oozing from a hole near your anus.
Some fistulas are easy to spot. Others aren’t. Sometimes they close on their own, then open back up. There’s no medication to treat the perianal fistula (bhagandar ka ilaj), so surgery is used. The procedure can usually take place in a doctor’s office or clinic. You won’t have to go to the hospital.

Thanks!! Issue is that the patients having this problem are not just shy by scared to share this… specially men… My question is : for the first time which doctor to consult this issue with, is it general physician? Second: if a man prefers / trusts a female doctor to get consultation, do lady doctors treat men for this? Third: most important is to know how long it takes for a patient to be normal to routine life after the surgery? As this is the main issue, people around patient who didn’t know about it will surely come to know by careful moves that patient does….. eager to see your kind replies..

Surgery is not the right treatment for the Fistula. In most of the cases after cleaning up the track the wound is left open or dressed but in either cases the wound never healed up. The intensive use of medicine including antibiotics and painkillers results in hepatitis .
