What’s the scale for the # of EDA responses though? Ive been googling for 15 minutes and havent found a single explanation for how to determine if a given score is low or high 😅

I have no idea. I’ve never seen a scale published either.

Useful video. Im choosing between inspire/luxe and charge 5 and was wondering what this was and if it was worth the extra cost... but i think the answer for me personally is no. It doesnt help me to have something tell me im stressed when I already know im stressed xD this feels kind of pointless as a feature. I'd much rather have the breathing exercise. Glad you made this video, i dont think ill be spending extra for this!

Hi again! Superb content! Can you show how skin temperature option works and in how many days should it show something? It has been 4 days and no skin temperature has been measured yet in fitbit charge 5.
@wearablewhisperer2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Skin temperature should show up after wearing the Fitbit during 4 nights of sleep. There can be issues with the Fitbit server that result in missing a night of data, but that is usually rare and you’ll see others complain on Reddit if that’s the case. But you do have to wear it during sleep for it to measure skin temperature variation.

I never got the "Manage stress with mindfulness" that you got at 8:02. It just goes immediately to the purple screen "Mindful Minutes." It's something that drove me nuts with my last Fitbit (Charge 3) -- it seems like different people get different screens when they tap exactly the same thing. I haven't signed up for the free 6 months of Premium yet (I got mine at Costco, and it comes with that) -- I want to know exactly what it will do *without* premium, because I don't think I'll ever want to pay for premium, but you never know. But it's always an annoying thing about Fitbit. Why don't I get exactly the same screens as in this video? I actually kept going back 10 seconds, over and over, sure that I had missed something. Anyway, I know that's not your problem, but it's one of the frustrating things about Fitbit.

Cool vid. But does this device track ur stress levels without thus mindful session?

On the fitbit app, after I do an EDA scan it always says no heart rate data was captured. Do you have any idea why that could be?
@wearablewhisperer2 жыл бұрын
No, I’m not sure. Sorry.

I bind the EDA application a little buggy 🙁 I watched the video, and it appears I have to have my fingers a little underneath the sides in order for it to work properly. But the cycle is finicky and still stops sometimes. The user experience stresses me out a little. This is really something I don't want to use, to be honest @fitbit. Give me my altimeter back with my stairs climbed instead.

My EDA scan does not appear when I swipe left or right from the clock.

It it in the list of apps in your charge 5 settings in the Fitbit app on your connected phone or other device?

this feature does not work it says to hold sides tried many time and nothing happened

Try restarting your device. If that doesn’t work you’ll need to contact Fitbit Customer Support.

Had trouble with mine...though the contact points run over the sides of the device, I found I needed to cover the top to bottom of the side, making good skin contact against the thumb and finger.... Then there is a 3 or so second pause before it registers and starts the countdown... Try moving your fingers about and laying them as flat against the contacts as you can....once you find the right position it's easier to find it again....for my first few attempts I thought pressing hard on the sides was doing the trick...it wasn't.

Make sure your fingers are a bit moisturized will solve the problem
@Redpaperrose2 жыл бұрын
@@pineyan someone on the Fitbit forums suggested the same, and it does work. However, I suspect it's not hardware but something in the tolerances in the software. Reason being, for the recently introduced ECG app, it really recognises my fingers but EDA still takes effort.

So people need a machine to tell them how they feel……. I remember the Wii Fit had a game where you sat still for about 5 minutes on the board and didn’t wiggle. That showed you something, I can’t even remember what.. It is spectacularly pointless.

note for next time. If you do not know what an EDA response IS, don't do a video explaining EDA response testing.
