Such a good review. Finally. Ok so it was really interesting to hear how the sense was different from the Apple Watch. I didn’t realize that sleep tracking was different with the two. I definitely like that details of my sleep are captured. I’m not interested in a “smart watch” but, rather, a “smart Heath monitor”. Which is why I have preordered the Sense even though I’m an iPhone user. I also like that I get google assistant with the watch. I’ll go with any manufacturer that can produce more Heath metrics.
@brianneholzendorf82273 жыл бұрын
Agreed! I'm beyond excited for my Sense. I'm an avid exerciser, I love yoga and dancing ballet, and the kicker? I already meditate, I was THRILLED when fitbit's "mindfulness" tile appeared on my app! Now I can follow my responses to meditations! Well, you enjoy your new fitbit! I sure will, too.
@redmeg783 жыл бұрын
Well you clearly did a mistake. There is an app on the Apple Watch called Sleep Watch which will give you even more advanced metrics but nevermind now.🤷♂️
@AmanBansil3 жыл бұрын
@@redmeg78 Never say never! I might still return it and get the Apple watch. I'm just testing it out to see if I like the insights. I've noticed that Apple stuff isn't detailed enough. That's why I had gotten the Fitbit Alta HR. The sleep tracking was more complex in Fitbit and I didn't need to install other apps to track it. I used to use AutoSleep on iPhone before (I had an older apple watch before)...it was ok. My primary goal is health metrics' tracking. If I can replicate the detail I get in fitbit in Apple's stuff...I'd switch.
@brianneholzendorf82273 жыл бұрын
@@redmeg78 I'm not sure which one of us you mean, but I have made no mistake, personally. I've years of FitBit data, and am not interested in a device that I must charge every day, or that I must use a separate app in order to track my sleep stages. This is innate for FitBits. :) In addition, I don't use much social media, and the main reason I ever use my cell phone is for meditation apps (Headspace) and language learning apps (Duolingo). I know I've made the Right Choice, for Me. Nobody knows somebody, or whether they've made a mistake or not, as well as They Themselves do! ;) -Brianne

My biggest question is exactly how often the swipes didn't register. This is gonna be a swipe heavy UI so if, say, 20% of swipes don't register then that is a fatal flaw. But if it's more like 5% it might be just a slight annoyance,

Fitbit does SP02 more useful than Samsung Watch3. With Samsung you have to manually start one single measurement, and leave your arm rested somewhere so that your breathing or literally ANY microscopic movement doesn't ruin the entire reading. You could manually put in a reminder on Watch3 and write "Check your SP02!", but you won't get any consistent useful readings like Sense seems to do (in example during the night).

Normally I had agree with you but on the Fitbit I actually prefer the haptic button. I find it especially useful when I'm exercising. The vibration lets me know if successfully pressed the button. If you go to the Fitbit subreddit, you’ll find a plethora of users reporting these watches dying out after a year or two. I for one have a soon to be replaced Charge 3, this is the second one because the first ones screen died, and this was gifted to me on summer 2019. I love the Fitbit ecosystem they have with the app and the scale which does come in handy, but their products not living for very long doesn’t give me much options. Don't rely on the "Nutrition Facts" in the app to monitor your sodium, fiber other micronutrients or macronutrients. They are based on one portion of each item you enter, no matter the quantity you choose. Sodium for 1 slice of bacon is the same for 50 slices of bacon in the "Nutrition Facts", it's pretty hard to track this when it is this inaccurate. Try it with the app, enter 1 slice of bacon and check the "Nutrient Facts", change the quantity of bacon to 50 slices and ercheck "Nutrient Facts". This has been an issue for at least 7 months and reporting it appears to be falling on deaf ears, even with screen shots. Maybe Google will take it more seriously than FITBIT did and fix the app.

I currently have a Fitbit Charge 3 that I use with my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I saw the Versa 3 & the Sense which look very nice. They look almost identical to an Apple Watch Series 4-6 & SE. So now for a smartwatch I'd be between the Versa 3, the Sense, the Apple Watch SE, & the Series 6. I mean I was leaning more towards one of those Apple Watches since I've never had a Apple Watch. But the Versa 3 & Sense are compelling for their prices

I've had 6 Fitbits since 2014 and even the Versa and Versa 2 didn't last longer than a year. The Versa 2 died after 6 months.
