Okay she was in the discord sp she knew how much effort everyone put into the base. But because of upsets with her bf she decides to get everything destroyed major red flag to go to that level to people she's seen make something from the start. Why would you stay together and surprised he's still in the group

I think the betrayal was much more likely because the gf was not playing on the server. If she would have put the same effort into the base she would have understood how much it meant for the builders. As she was not a builder she did not knew the time, the work spent on it so it was easier for her to destroy it.

That's grounds for an immediate breakup, such an immense breach of trust is incredibly fucked up

Smart that the teammates blew up their own base, don’t let the griefers have any satisfaction. Also, sometimes letting go of something that you’ve worked hard on is refreshing.

Been a member of the group from 2011 - 2018, so happy to see my former group being noticed like this.

So basicaly the girlfriend got angry over her boyfriend playing too much of a game and instead of being civil about it, like every other person would prolly be, she leaked the coordinates of the work. I am quite amazed they are still together, this is some pretty extreme betrayal right there. Same level of having someone you trust burn lets say ... an art piece you spend some time on because you didnt spend enough time with them.

Jokes with the “2B2T player has a girlfriend” aside, it is a actually heartbreaking to see a group’s effort is being completely destroyed by a ‘by-stander’ that they know and just because one person in the group does not give her the attention.

She could have impulsivity and jealousy issues but still.. someone who plays Minecraft like her, even if it wasn't on the same server, should know how much time and effort is put into these things..

Well on the bright side she actually told him what she did by accident . Any other realationship would have ended at that pin moment . But the city got destroyed........ It would be super helpful if they find a way to make some chunks invincible ( advancher mode ) .

In high school a stack of diamonds went missing from a kid on the servers house and I was the one blamed. He still hates me and gives me dirty looks if we see each other in public. That was 7-8 years ago.

It may seem a bit draconian but honestly I'd bar the guy from being in the group for staying with her after that. It was already bad enough that she was willing to take out her frustrations on something that the guy cared about but him deciding to stay with her after she screwed up something that dozens of people, that he has the audacity to call his friends after this, poured days of work into shows that the dude's a doormat and has some serious issues with his self esteem or something. Dude needs to come to terms with the kind of person he's with and the group needs to realize the the guy's a liability at best and more importantly a shitty friend who'll choose to stay with a toxic hag who'd screw over people that aren't involved in their mess of a relationship. TLDR: She belongs to the streets and dude should do better.
