You seem like a genuine dude... from one deployed VET to another, keep pushing on. Similar situation with me. Military, workout freak, then I was done with it, totally done with it... I think I'd be happy to get back to 3/4 to 1/2 way there. Truth be told, with me, lack of discipline. Lacked the discipline to do so for many years (still do), would like to get back to it, not so much for cool guy persona, just health. Mad props for putting it out there in public. All the best. If you drink soda, or any sugary drinks, cut these out and that will make a tremendous difference. Look at the coffee you drink, gatorades, iced teas all that have an incredible amount of sugar. Cut that shit out, go to sweetener free seltzer’s ( like lacroix) to help replace something carbonated. Most people pack on a lot of calories this way without knowing it. Can add up to over a 1000 a day and it’s not even filling. Spread out your meals into smaller more consistent meals throughout the day. Your body burns calories through exercise, metabolism and the process of turning food into energy. By consistently eating you can actually burn and use food more effectively. Eliminate the white Rice’s, processed carbs and sweets and you’ll be impressed by the difference even without exercising. That’s my two cents.
