Hi mate... I am already an Australian Citizen with educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Due to having an International education which is not recognize in Australia I applied for a Trade Assistant in one of the biggest mining of iron here in WA. One of my job is helping the heavy diesel fitters on the job with heavy mobile equipment. I would say I am gaining experience and learning the trade. Will i be eligible to apply for an RPL in future to be recognize as a fitter?

I am an indian and I completed 2 years fitter course in 2007 - 2009 . Then I worked five years in a local company .They gave me the salary by cash .After it I worked in a curtain shop as a fitter still they gave me the salary by hand. After it ,I knew that about Australian migration and skill assessment test. Then I applied india government company and worked there 1 year and I took national apprentice test then got it . Can I apply for skill assessment test and visa ?

I have 2+ years mechanical Technician and 1 year Technician training from a manufacturing company and currently I was offered a Mechanical Engineer position. My educational background is HND (Higher National Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering from Nigeria. I have checked my qualifications credibility for an accord standard by the EA (Engineer Australia) and in my country (Nigeria) there is no accord standard. So am asking now, with my HND (educational qualifications) and Mechanical Engineer position and my mechanical Technician experience, how long will I work as an engineer to be eligible for a positive skill assessment for a Mechanical engineer by the Engineer Australia (EA). Or Am I still under TRA skill assessment for a fitter with my Mechanical Engineer position and my HND.

Please reply My husband is a Marine engineer & he got the skilled assessment for fitter (general) (offshore) last year october.. then he applied EOI's last week for subclasses 189,190 & 491 for 5 states.. Is there any chance for getting a invitation to him? Points - 491- 85 190- 75 189- 70 Superior English 4.9 years of experience
