I couldn't find any videos about fitting a double din stereo to one of these vans, so I thought I would make one.
I used:
CT23VX60 Car Double Din Fascia Panel from Dynamic Sounds.

Great video. been looking for a Master van radio fitting for ages. Mine a bit different to yours. It doesn't have the slide out tray. Think I need a different facia. Thanks for uploading. Can't believe so little views. Deserves a lot more. Easy to follow and precise. Great work.👍

My clock time was set by the original Renault radio. I fitted a double din DAB radio which is great but I have no way of changing the time display. Anyone got any bright ideas on alternative ways to set it?

Getting ready to fit a unit finally. Where do you get the harness from for connecting the radio to the renault 24 & 12 pin connectors. ?

It came with the Sony unit.

a bit concerned you did not fit the mounting plates to the head unit before fitting the plates to the holes on the dash.technically only friction is holding your stereo into the dash.

The Sony XAV-3500 is no longer available. Can I use any double din head unit? i.e. Sony XAV-AX5650

Does the Bluetooth and sat nav still work as normal

Bluetooth works fine. My van didn't come with the satnav.

My van only had the DAB aerial, and the head unit is FM only, so I had to fit an FM one.

What did you do with cable that Is mini usb in old radio

Nothing. Not sure what it does, my guess is it goes to the GPS screen where the mirror is (if fitted).

I think it does USB at drivers side above steering wheel and you can use that for Apple car play , I’ll try with a converter to see if it’ll work

I used a USB 2.0 A Male to Mini USB Female Cable Lead Charging Charger Adapter Converter and it worked perfectly

Take it you never done this before , don’t fit the radio cage u use the brackets to fit radio 😆😆😆😆😆😆😆
