Hi landyglamper...glad you enjoyed the episode...i originally wanted to put the sill tanks in but can't make them fit cos of the side lockers so that is why i went with the rear arch tank plus i can always chuck in a jerry can of water which will give us 56 ltrs capacity but will see how we go with the 36 ltrs..regards Paul

Water tank above a hot exhaust makes a nice water heater and breading ground for bacteria

Hi Shropshire lad...the air space between the exhaust and the water tank is sufficient enough to have no heat transfer and plus the wind chill of air travelling around and through the vehicle will chill the water anyway..and plus we treat the water in the tank with water purifying tablets if there is not sufficient chloryne in the water supply as i have had water poisioning from bacteria in the water abroad and it is not a pleasant experience so we take great care with the drinking water..regards Paul

@@All4Overland just thought I would mention it people do not always take things like this into consideration any water above 20c can have the potential to be dangerous me personally would only drink bottled water and never tanked being ex military I always air on the side of caution water is vital the rule of threes always apply

Hi shropshire lad...i completely understand where you are coming from like i said before we take water contamination seriously and we do drink bottled water most of the time but even bottled water in a vehicle in a hot country can get above 20c during the day so like Gaz said we will have to stick to beer..regards Paul

Hi Rasmus...it isnt a case of it pushing the tank down it also pushes it forward into the wheel arch as well you would have to do a couple of trial fits to see whether you can get it in without cutting the body..regards Paul

Hi Brian...i don't carry a hi-lift anymore so i don't need to worry about the hi-lift jack jacking point in the chassis...regards Paul

Hi Spawntrooper...if you are going to paint a 110 in raptor including chassis i would say you would need 3 x 4Litre kits just to make sure you had enough. And i am sorry i am far too busy to be able to take on any outside work other than i already have..regards Paul

@@All4Overland if it gets over 20c can be a breeding ground for bacteria and ideally a turn over rate of 2.5 times a day to stop this problem
