The Olight Warrior Mini 2

The Olight Warrior Mini 2 is one of my favorites that I have reviewed, I have added it to my EDC Bag. Let me know what you think about this flashlight and what you think about the "wireless" charging.

Got my first Olight a couple years ago. a S1R Baton2. It has ben through hell and back. Been dropped, ran through the washing machine and dryer numerous times. Stuck it to the lid of my charcoal grill and forgot it. Used tongs to remove it from the flames about 10 minutes later. It was covered in sut. After it cooled I cleaned it off and it was unfazed. Still my edc and I own more than a dozen different Olights now.

Love it! I have it as my pocket EDC flashlight for about a year. It's quite big for "mini", but after month you get used to it. Now i can't imagine not havin' it in my pocket. :)

That was my thought too... 😅 Mini is not the best description of it. Not that it is inconveniently large, just odd for the name.

My son got me a set of Olights. I really like mine. That little charger is really nice.

Nice! The little charger is cool. Although, I demonstrated it wrong in the video. 😅

The charging system is cool. Especially if you have multiple lights from Olight. With the OPort you have to separate the two halves, otherwise the charging won't work ;-)

Yeah, the charging system is really cool Oh, just double checked on that, you are right. The OPort has to be opened to charge. 😂

Is there a lock out that keeps it from accidentally turning on ? My old Olight you hold the button down for a length of time and it locks out the switch until you repeat the process.

Yes! There is a lock-out. I forgot to demonstrate that. Same thing, you hold down the side button to lock it out.

Does this use the std mag charger 1 amp MCC, or do you need a different one MCC3 1/ 1.5 amp only?

Will the butt of this stick to metal surfaces like the Baton 3? Could I say, stick it to the hood of a car while I'm looking at the engine? Or the door of a fridge? Am I to understand that it does not tail stand very well at all on a regular non magnetic surface?

Yes, the tail cap is magnetic. It will stick to the hood of your car as long as your hood is not aluminum. It does stand on the tail very well by itself too.

Ok everyone they call it a mini because it’s a smaller version of the warrior 3 full-size flashlight lol. Obviously there are more mini flashlights out there 😊

I wouldn’t say it’s nice to have a removable battery in case it died. My view is it’s nice to have a removable battery because you can have a second one fully charged up ready to go in the event you’re seriously off grid and you get stuck…….

OLGIHTS are pricy. Even during annual sales like the Black Friday Sale. The sale just makes thir lights more attainable....but IMHO still not worth it unless you're buying out of brand loyalty or for OLIGHT's proprietary "LED Jog dial...magnetic puck charger"....performance wise you can do better for a lot less money....for any light selling for $70 or more...

Mine has strobe. How could it be a tactical flashlight without strobe? It doesn't appear to have "beacon" and "SOS". You press the side switch 3 times quickly to go into strobe.
