Wow, the nostalgia hit me when you started talking about the Krissy game! I played it so much! I remember the grocery shopping and there was also a part where you got to feed her. I'm reminded of that game I hear a baby laugh in a movie or show because it almost always sounds the same as her laugh lol

I remember as a kid one day for Halloween I dressed up as a rose princess. Everybody thought I was dressed as Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty. 5-7 year old me got so mad! Thanks Caitlyn for sparking the memory! I love you

The Barbie I distinctly remember is the single mother/pregnant Barbie. I know there was a lot of controversy surrounding her, but she was probably my favorite next to all my Hannah Montana and High School Musical ones. Midge and Baby that was the doll.

I remember having the thumbalina doll. She is so nostalgic. The little spin function probably got used once but I loved her. And I had a barbie island princess doll when she has her fancy peacock dress but I had no idea what movie it was from until this year lol. But I immediately remember that big poofy blue dress ❤️

i cant forget how broke we were during childhood, never even had the chance to buy those Barbie Dolls, its expensive as hell. Fashion Fever and Movie themed dolls were hella expensive, my mom never bought one for me. but now i am relieving those memories. seeing those dolls displaed on department stores, all i can do was pressing "I can sing" button or "watch me glow" and playing them on stores, hahah it was a great childhood.

As a cat owner, I’m also confused as to why there’s two food bowls. I’m just assuming it’s an extra one because they are small, and I know I lost a lot of small accessories for toys when I was young, especially from my barbies, littlest pet shops, and Polly pocket stuff. Loved the video ❤️

Out of all these, I only had the last one. And she was my second all time favourite ❤️ I absolutely adored her hair, because it was so silky, and I can't even begin with the outfit. I played with this set so much the dress straps fell off at some point. Also, there was another Barbie set with a cat that I did actually own. The cat had like five kittens (you could put them in the cat's belly) and there was a stroller for them. It was my all time favourite 🐈💕

Dude, I absolutely had the Rose Princess Barbie! She wasn’t my favorite to play with because of the strings but she was very unique. Another cool one if you should ever find one was Bowling Party Stacie. She had a magnet on her hand that held a bowling ball and it came with a lane and pins that you could bowl with. That doll was rad.

i had the rose princess doll too! that overskirt wound up being something i used a lot for other dolls too. and the pet cat one, although my sister and i lost the cat pretty quickly and all the accessories just perpetually floated around our barbie stuff. one of my favorites was a ken doll with color changing hair that had blonde highlights when exposed to cold/hot water. ALSO!! I had the notorious magnetic pregnant belly midge and doctor barbie set and that midge doll with the jointed elbows was my gateway into being a fan of ball jointed dolls. thank you for sharing, it's really awesome seeing these small shared experiences through memorable barbies

So I’ve being doing my fourth year dissertation on Barbie and honestly finding dolls I had as a kid through research is the bEST FEELING. so wish I had the money for them all but corona said ✨no✨I did manage to find one for cheap and I LOVE HER. thank you so much for this video !!! Happy to see some doll content! I think you might enjoy checking out other fashion dolls from around the world, it's a cool way to learn about different countries values and culture. Licca-chan is considered the "Japanese Barbie" equivalent and she is biracial and she has older family members (they made dolls of her grandparents and parents) which I think is unique because it gives incite to their value placed on respecting elders. In America you don't see a lot of middle aged or older dolls, so I think it's really interesting.

me and my older siblings definitely had the first 4 out of 5 of these dolls but i sure did forget them because i didn't recognize ANY of them initially - i recognized the rose princess doll by her hair, the kitty doll by the cat's litterbox and the doll's arm wiggles, the stroll and play doll by the krissies (although we could have had krissies from a different playset i suppose), and the ballerina sisters by the background of the box...it's interesting to see all these dolls again! i would love a part 2

I remember asking my dad if I could buy a doll on Amazon (or at the dollar store) and him saying yes. Around three days later it would come and I has so much joy unboxing them and taking them everywhere. I was to young to watch the movies, and at about 9 I sold them all… I “out grew them”

I had as a kid a "modern" version of Kitty Fun. Now watching the older one makes mine look so bad 😂😂 the cat has no fur and the doll it's all hard plastic, her shoes always come off

for the fashion fever hair coloring doll, any doll that was like "color your hair the same as the doll!! be twins!!" always made me rlly sad, esp being black and having curly hair, it definitely contributed to wanting straight blonde hair lol, but i will say, the 2009 fashion line was ICONIC just like the fashion fever line, and i had a lot of fun with both of those dolls

I had the Barbie/Kelly dance duo for all of an hour one birthday. I must have been five but distinctly remember the Barbie breaking straight out of the box and asking my parents if we could return the Barbie but keep the Kelly. It was a no.

I remember having part of the baby set, I was born in 2003 so way after the set came out, but when I was little our church did a rummage sale and a girl was selling her Barbie dollhouse and part of the baby set came with it and my mom bought it for me, and I loved that dollhouse and the babies, so it was a bit nostalgic for me!

I don't remember the kitty litter feature but i was so little my parents would throw out the tiny accessories and shoes because they were a choking hazard! The baby Krissy game was the best! Need to add the Stroll and Play and Kitty one to my collection!

Oh, this is a trip down the memory lane! I think the Rose Princess was my very first Barbie doll. The cat I had too, although my mother would not let me take out the kitty litter because she said I'd get the sand everywhere. Weirdly enough I do not remember the ballerina one, but I do remember the outfit, so maybe it was my big sister ones or we had one with similar tights? The hair one I do not remember having, but wanting to have it because I loved the idea of the hair color.

I specifically remember my grandmas box of barbies I could play with having the rose princess skirt in it. It was my favorite Barbie skirt the box also had the smaller Barbie dancing sister. And then oh my gosh the hair coloring one started my hair dye addiction.
