I totally agree that season 4 was too much change for me series wise. Something about Austin’s music career completely being thrown to the side for so long of season 4 made me kind of sad when I watched it as well as the whole sonic boom thing but well I guess that is just because I am not good with change. But also the last episode seems so unrealistic that they didn’t talk for 4 years? Kind of broke my heart for those fake characters knowing they spent 4 years completely with no contact ESPECIALLY after already mentioning being together forever as partners or friends or no matter what they may be for literally the whole show. So personally I blend that out and they always were together and ended up getting married because that’s actually a rounded up ending <3 I just feel like those 4 years apart didn’t really have to be there or like not as dramatic. Loved the video!!!! I accidentally retwachted the show in a whole week and it was over too fast so I couldn’t get over them yet 😭 Edit: I also realised that they mentioned all throughout the series that they will always write songs together no matter what so this 4 year gap makes even less sense (I honestly do not like the last episode at all except for the end end so I am just coping) Edit 2: weirdly I completely misremembered the show and thought they would be an official duo way earlier (somehow I have a scene in my head that never actually happened? lol) , and they could’ve chosen this as a season 4 plot line and have them sing together and all that cute stuff but yes 👍

Okay I have a lot to say about your chapter 2 breakdown: I feel like you’re not giving Nini‘s character enough credit… and I know people are about to roll their eyes when I say this, but as women, we constantly have to be that nurturer, and it’s fair to say (especially in high school) that you lose yourself while trying to nurture something that someone else has kind of made clear that they’re not sure of… I think when he rejected her after she outright publicly told him that she loved him, it got the wheels turning in her head… being rejected by someone you thought was gonna be your endgame. Does something to you, especially if you have been putting all your energy towards them! And I feel like you’re not taking accountability for how that really could break someone. Personally, the fact that she’s in high school and she’s pursuing her dreams instead of going down the rabbit hole of Mormon or maybe even drugs or alcohol should be celebrated because that’s the typical thing that most women and men do once they go through something so harsh. I do agree she does come off a lot more mean, but I think it’s because she hasn’t processed the feelings of being rejected!! him deleting a comment about a Collab that probably could get her even more famous isn’t something that you should gloss over! He stopped a bag. He stopped an opportunity for her because he was upset. You should not just be letting him get a pass for that just because she’s been treating him meanly!! You make it such a big deal that she needs to communicate her feelings, but you completely give him a pass to be moody and broody and even possessive over her attention, because he hasn’t dealt with his own emotions. I feel like too many people give guys that benefit of the doubt. It’s like you guys automatically believe as long as they figure it out; that they’re gonna be fine, but for women we have to talk about everything otherwise we’re gonna fall apart, and the relationships around us are gonna fall apart too. Why don’t we get that grace to Ni-ni!? Why don’t we give the grace of “Hey, she is going through something rough right now!” They’re young teenagers, and we want to be selfish. Why is it her job to be the bigger person all the time? Meanwhile, he can be the hurt kid who’s going through a divorce. And deleting her messages!! both of the guys have done that to her now and you have let it slide as if it was normal for them to do that, but she has never once invaded their privacy like that but yet she’s the main one and the manipulative one that’s not being clear with her emotions? Obviously you’re not talking about that time but you do not play up what they did enough for me😂😂

I think it’s less of your responsibility of how your friends react to your boyfriend being around. It takes everyone’s participation. My boyfriend never said if he liked my friends or not, he just wanted to be around, and respected my friendship with them even if he didn’t relate to them at all. My friends on the other hand, there was always tension on their side. And they would constantly say bad things about him. The same thing happened to our other friend but I was too young to realize what they were doing. They got these two to date, my ex friend and this guy. Then, they were a happy couple. But, oh no! Now that she has a bf that means she’s not automatically available all the time! (Tbh though even if you’re single you’re allowed to not have to go out with friends!) and they got pretty bent out of shape that she would say no to going out because she was already doing something with her boyfriend and family. After like two months of not being able to hang out, they literally asked to meet at a park to discuss what was going on, if she was avoiding them? And basically…my ex friend was saying what’s true. It’s hard to find time for family, boyfriend, jobs, AND friends. Especially if those friends are no longer local and expect you to be on call whenever they returned to their hometown. I didn’t have a bf and my family wasn’t that close so I didn’t understand. They told her that she was lying and if she wanted to make time to hang out she would (I guess there was also some post she made about her cousins doing drugs and saying it’s “sad” and they were on a “downward spiral” but didn’t name the person so they thought she was talking about them (they smoked marijuana once and drank when they hung out and the ex friend was illegal and scared of doing things that would get her deported-so they thought it was a dig at them) basically just a terrible conversation that ended with broken hearts and confusion. My two other friends were clearly jealous freaks. You don’t tell your friend it’s “me” or “your family/bf”. I got a bf , and he was across the world. They met him once, hated him. So glad I moved away. Once I visited my parents in my hometown and they met me at the airport expecting I would go with them instead of my family??? Like what?? Why are you soo obsessed?? Can’t it wait until…idk not directly off my flight? I got to hang out with them twice in my three week venture, because they were going back to University they were upset I didn’t try to hang out with them more than my family and showing my bf my hometown… wasn’t until they got a boyfriend and I said one thing “yeah you say so much about my bf’s appearance who is a good person, yet your Chicano can’t stop saying the N word ✋ “ from then it was “WE BOTH HAVE BEEN THINKING THIS FOR A WHILE BUT WE CANT BE FRIENDS ANYMORE” basically they thought because I deleted my Facebook and Instagram from people who started stalking me where I moved, that I did it to get away from them. They had my number and never texted me once throughout the five years away before it finally ended. They just reblogged my posts on tumblr 😂 that’s not friendship , weirdos. You can still check up on someone you used to be good friends with without being so f spiteful..about what 😂 oh god that was a long comment sorry
