shyvana? like ap is maybe broken but only if you get early kills and then for entire game you press E and thats your champ ONE SPELL thats why i hate one spell builds/champs like AP kaisa she was broken just because of one stupid spell and she wasnt using anything else just pressing W same thing was with W zeri and other champs but i dont remember them all but making champion and just letting play with ONE SPELL is just insanly boring and hard too balance because if they will try to nerf it its just trash champ because it was relying on one spell

Probably a nitpick but karthus being the guy that dies totally fits him as a lich, they're not about raising armies they're about overcoming mortality to achieve ultimate power

I think a lot of lich tend to be necromancers, but it depends on what lore you're going off of haha.

I honestly think Karth is a champion that can just be left unreworked the longest. Positively archaeic kit but it all works well together and makes for interesting teamfighting around him.

True, but there could be other ways to do an undying lich that are healthier for the game than requiem. You could even have a sort of self rez mechanic if you do something very special instead, or maybe just make it his ult that he self rezzes. Liches are known for being necromancers and having phylacteries, so having something based on both would be cool

The biggest issue with Karthus is his dumbass ultimate, its like Zeus from DotA but infinitely more horrendous to play against, which is to say you can't. He presses R and you lose half your healthbar with no way to avoid it, Zeus at least does a relatively low amount of damage, but still an impactful teamwide burst and potential execute, as well as having utility like revealing enemies and providing true sight for a couple seconds.... Karthus meanwhile with the way AP scaling and item effects work, its just not healthy... He either does literally nothing or is unbearably oppressive...

I think nocturn should have a focus on vision control like fiddle, and to encourage this his passive makes enemies stack paranoia on enemies who are alone, increased for every enemy or ally they cannot see. When he attacks them he harvests their fear, gaining heal(for some sustain like his current passive) and if they have full stacks they get feared then change his E to a nearsight

Cool idea! Would be cool if this passive could also be used on jungle monsters for some sustain, or make procs do extra dmg to focus on his assassin identity. Feel like if they are gonna remake him they should just make him an assassin tbh

I think the fun of Cho'Gath is making him grow and become nigh-unstoppable, a rework for him should expand on the lingering menace of becoming a kaiju monster that grows bigger and bigger, not horribly frustrating like Kayle and her passive that fixes anything but damage, but rewarding you for making him bigger and bigger.

Random thought as you said this, and i know it's a rather common thing on other champs, but how about after a certain amount of stacks he can walk over certain terrains or walls since hes bigger than them, or even get to ignore minion collision at different thresholds of stacks. Could be broken, but it's just ideas to improve hes idea of neverending growth

It genuinely confuses why Nekko gets a rework and update but some champs like Shyvana are just completely ignored.

Shyvana is old and clunky by today's standards, Neeko still has pretty fluid animations and a nice model, therefore her rework can be viewed mainly as a gameplay mechanics job, however Shyvana would require at the very least new animations and would be seen as lazy if less is done.

She just got a mid-scope, that's far more doable than a full VGU, altough is true Neeko had a lot of work put into her. Either way, she deserved it, since her kit has glaring quality of life problems that could be fixed easily (like her R) and some wasted potential on her passive which is also something good that they finally adressed.

because they probably don't see much of a point when she's already scheduled for a proper VGU after Skarner, tho with how slow they're doing with that I feel they could at least give a bit of a tweak to her kit before then EDIT: ok she's not a guaranteed rework my bad, but she being majorly considered after Skarner which I think gives her a good chance to just get rolled in afterwards given how dissatisfying she is

Because Neeko is much easier to fix than Shyvanna. This Neeko update probably took like a week to design (I'm sure it took months to fix bugs with her new passive and there will be a lot of new ones discovered when she goes live. Imagine Viego, but with now also breaking with minions, camps and jungle plants). Neeko had a lot of issues, but it was mostly intuitive to fix. Choose one of the two identities and force her into it (they chose ap), make her feel more like a true chameleon like she's supposed to be and give her a way to reliably have people not walk outside of her ult. Which is wxactly what they did. A full on rework, like what Shyvanna needs, takes months just to design her again. You have to basically reinvent the champ from scratch, and choose what to build around for her as a champion. It's almost like making an entirely new champ, but you have the added pressure of the Shyv lovers hating the rework because it's not the champ they fell in love with. 3 out of 4 of Shyvanna's abilites are legit dogwater. Plus her biggest issue of being legit a caster creep that builds ap when not having access to full fury is just a much harder task to fix.

kalista's kit works within itself, the meta just doesnt favor her karthus's passive needs to rework so its not to reward and encourage dying. nocturne is fine, he's actually really well designed and balanced and good for new players trynd could use a rework, but he's fine chogath only needs tweaks, building full ap can delete people with no counterplay (since you cant get out of knockups)

Chogath is my most played champ, i fell in love with him the second i saw him and have been playing since league came out. His kit honestly meshes pretty well, and just desperately needs a modernization

I really like Cho'gath as well, partly because I like his kit and the gimmick of GITTING HUEG, but also because his design reminds me of the Zerg from StarCraft. He's like a really big Zergling!

I always thought that his Q and W should get bigger with stacks. Q is so easy to land early game, but how do you hit anyone in the late game once they have move speed? It's impossible. Cho just becomes a giant meatball of health that cant actually do anything.

@@bullseye608 I just recently started playing Cho and I kind of agree, its funny to get absolutely massive and have a million HP but in the late game he actually doesn't do all that much because everyone can kite him, he needs to be on top of someone to do damage and if he doesn't have his team to back him up, Cho just gets locked down and destroyed in exchange for maybe eating a squishy, if he can ever catch them. I think he'd feel a lot better if he was able to consistently have a meaningful role in teamfights late game other than blocking projectiles and hopelessly trying to hit a Q

He needs a visual update and QoL changes, not a rework. E slow -> Q -> W, and then E's back up for more damage, and then R for execute. That's a very clear combo. Maybe give him Q range and size, and W range and size, based off of his current size. E already does it.

I really like the idea of nocturne throwing up a big black cloud that actually appears as a big black blotch on the map for a while and everyone inside it also can’t see their map or allies

While Cho’s ult may not be the most exciting to activate, it is satisfying to see yourself take up half the screen and only take 3 steps to get to baron

For some reason,when playing her in below diamond she is very strong but when up I never see a positive kda or positive objective control shyva even when enemy team shyva doing well. When I got to diamond she completely death and 90% of the time who got shyva on their team lose

Additional complaints about Karthus besides his ult and passive: Aside his wall, I think most of his abilities are boring. His Q doesn't feel very impactful and his AOE aura doesn't usually do anything unless you're being chased or dived- it's to punish people for killing you, meaning it's inherently a reactive ability (you pull it up in response to a scenario put on you) Edit: Don't get confused- his Q has impact, but it doesn't FEEL impactful. It deals good damage, but it doesn't feel satisfying to spam it.

I really feel like giving his wall a grounding effect like Poppy would benefit him so much. That way he can effectively force a fight or negate it. And giving him infinite scaling would actually fit his theme of being a lich/necromancer/deathsinger. Like how Thresh is collecting souls to keep, Karthus is building up his choir of undead people.

@@rosediomond4661 To make him even more cancer to fight? He's already pain in the ass to kill when he build Zhonya's, Liandry and Rylai's, so I don't see any reason why his AoE slow that also reduces your MR by 15%, would EVER need to be buffed.

I would like to respectfully disagree with that, his Q is extremely impactful when hitting someone who is alone and even if he isn't with liandrys there is a lot of damage, his W gives him a lot of damage against tanks and his E can also make a ton of damage with the right items and runes

Honestly, the champ pool is absurd. I would almost suggest pruning some of the least viable/played ones, but that's obviously not a viable business decision considering the cost that went into creating them.

because they've been pumping out new overloaded dynamic champs at rapid fire for years now. So many champs have been left behind. The sheer amount of champs is off putting to newcomers too, league had a weird learning curve period but when you throw almost 200 champs at someone to learn it staggers how much time its going to take to get decent at the game.

My girl Shyvana is still in need of her rework. Her gameplay is "walk up to someone" or the more toxic "fire a nuke every 8 seconds then run away" She HASNT changed since her creation. Sure, things got tweaked slightly, but her gist remains the same. Her passive is on par with KogMaw levels of bad.

​@@azizkash286 imo jarvans' is worse, not even a full Bork proc every several seconds. Viego gets almost the same amount on every auto once q is maxed. Obviously jarvan isn't weak, but so he has so much power in his qer that he can't have a real passive.

@@azizkash286 wtf u talking about? dealing 20% more dmg to drakes and gaining free 5 armour and mr + 5 for each drake is a bad passive? i've got 35 free armour and 35 mr on some matches. That is comparable to 1500 gold. Just for taking drakes, which i will rememeber you, shyvana can literally solo them as soon as they appear. Actually, shyvanas passive is one of the best in the game.

​@@Tryingmybestsince1999 It locks her into the jungle role and is very lazily designed. Also 35 armor and MR is only useful in the early/mid game,(which you dont get at that point because it's tied to drakes) as later on these stats won't save you from full build adcs.

Totally agree on chogath, I'd add that his lack of mobility makes it so that missing Q against ranged units means he's useless and gets free kiting for the remaining of the Q CD

Cho'gath needs cohesive combo, maybe a small speed buff to catch up. But when mobility is brought up, I'm afraid people want him to have a dash. I play Cho'gath a lot. A dash would be a mechanically blessing but horrendous for his theme. Cause he's a slow moving bulwark of endless eating.

As a Cho'gath main, based on my experience Cho's kit actually works extremely well when built full AP and played like an assassin, like Fizz or Talon. Q to pick a target, Rocketbelt to dive on them or Everfrost to hold them in place, W to silence them and prevent their escape, one or two autos with E to get them into ult range, and then ult to execute them. Tank Cho is really where you start to see the problems in his kit, and that's bad because he is supposed to be a tank. He has no immediate defensive utility whatsoever, and while his Q is a good cc tool, it is very hard for him to force an engage, which is something most other tanks are very good at. He works best when someone else engages for him, which is not good for a tank. Whatever they do for his rework, he needs to have a tool to reliably engage by force, as well as something to bolster his defenses on demand so he can actually tank for his team.

@@amandaslough125 chogath has definitely never been a warden, he has always been a more offensive tank. I hope they never try to change him into a warden. Just give him some tools to be a better vanguard. Either way, he functions excellently as an assassin in his current state.

For nocturne my friend and i made a rework, one of the things was that his ult would make it look like he ultd on everyone but every one he didnt ult just gets ultd on by a clone like a neeko esc clone. Makes it so that everyone is scared

@@IntelligentleMANgief No one played him but everyone loves his design. His gameplay was also counterintuitive to proper cumulative gameplay knowledge that they had to rework him. I liked the mini game, but it was not healthy within the game.

I was actually thinking about this yesterday. I think Karthus has a lot of potential to be a cool, high-skill champion. One idea I had that would be cool is if Karthus’ ult can only target enemies he has dealt damage to in the last 20 seconds or so. This encourages a lot more interactivity. To compensate for this, they could give his R a small execute or something. Additionally, they could remove his death passive and replace it with a passive where allies who die near Karthus become spirits instead and produce an aura similar to his W which can contribute to damage that allows Karthus R to hit someone. Idk, just a thought.

my idea of how to fix karthus' passive is to make it kinda like Sion's. Where he has like 3-4k decaying health(but no armor/mr) and can move and he has all the benefits as his current death passive

I think a cool idea for trynd’s undying rage is for it to only be activatable at max fury and add some extra stuff like extra dmg or something like it fits the theme of he’s too angry to die but also that will help you see if you are the enemy when to try and burst him in melee range and when to back off and poke.

Maybe they should try giving cho'gath increased range on skills based on his size (or ult stacks) and reducing a few of his numbers and making Trynd's passive multiply acquired crit chance instead of flat crit (like yone and yasuo) and making his ult like a Renata W or something

8:22 how i would do it is make his Q fog (or even the AOE slash effect from his passive.) give nearsight kinda like you mentioned. and give him a new passive like Kha'Zix isolation and make it so attacking champs with nearsight gives some sort of bonus effect. i think that being his passive would make him fit a lot more into that nightmare theme if his kit worked more around blinding enemy's in darkness and getting buffs from it.

I agree with Cho'Gath- the lack of any combos makes it so that the "trades" I have agains't the enemy cho'gath goes like so: I step up to trade, get knocked up and silenced and then he waddles away- and with long long mana sustain cho'gath just spams Q until I'm low enough to be just tower dived by him

I think Rupture and Feast are the signature abilities of Cho'Gath without question. The ranged AoE knockup is quite unique, and Feast with its true damage burst and health scaling property on kill is core to Cho'Gath's identity. Carnivore is a good passive for helping him maintain an advantage in lane (or perhaps help him sustain in jungle), but Feral Scream and Vorpal Spikes are just fine. If they keep the essence of Feast and Rupture largely the same, modernize Carnivore, and modernize his model, I think it would be great

Karthus' abilities are perfect. He has high dps but very little cc and mobility, which is compensated for by his passive allowing an additional 7 seconds worth of damage.

I always look at champs and think about how I would change them or update ones with outdated kits. Cho and nocturne (the one I started with) are two I have thought about. Cho I changed is vorpal spikes to be on his passive. It is just something that is, but conditional. I made it conditional that any enemy target that has movement impairment causes a burst of vorpal spikes to appear. Any target killed by vorpal spikes heals him for a burst. His q would no longer be a zone but a wave that only knocks up, except at the furthest distance which will additionally slow. I am unsure about his e. I initially thought about making it an aoe around him. It would deal more damage, but no longer silence unconditionally. It would increase in size based on his stacks and the silence would be based off of movement impaired and duration based off of stacks. His new W would be a skill shot spike he sends out and damage all targets in a line. The first target hit that is knocked up he pulls towards him. This does a bit of damage and the width of the spike increase with his ult stacks. Ult is basically unchanged, however it become a true execute if the damage is enough to kill them (unlike now where a sudden shield can save you). I would reduce the scaling off ap a bit, but give more chances to scale off minions from 6 to 10. Anyways, I am sure this is bad but it was something I said to my friend as a way to lean into the big spikey void monster that grows as he feeds.

Nocturne jungles been my main since season 3 or so. Because he's honestly stat stick as well, he can be itemized just about any way you need him to be and be okay. I've been oddly successful with iceborn gauntlets and titanic hydra as my first two items when I needed to Frontline for a squishy team. I kind of appreciate that some older champs fall into this category where they don't have a theme or gimmick that defines the champ and puts them into a box. Any rework I feel like would give him very defined gameplay and combos which isn't something I would appreciate necessarily

I think Quinn need more a rework than Karthus. As for Trynd, here is a new ult he could have: Trynd activate his ult that last for 5 secs. If Trynd takes lethal damage, his health is set to 1 health and he gains a 100% max health shield for 3 secs. If he kills someone during the shield duration, he consumes the shield and heal for 40/60/80% of the remaining shield.

I think Kalista should not have too many offensive tools. She feels uncomfy, because of her small attack range, but we never wanna see her bully everyone else in lane via spear poke. That she only has 2 offensive tools and a passive steroid with a vision tool makes her balanced without her bing op

Chogath should have a void portal in his mouth, and when he uses his r he stands still and fully opens it, dragging champions towards him slowly, but have the execute only happen if it lasts for the full duration, so he needs to pull someone all the way in and hold it to kill, but he can potentially kill multiple people if he is big enough.

7:09 that might encourge players to run down(and give something against it), though still a buff isn't as good as entire champion so I'd say give him something similar to Yorick just he doesn't rely on it as much. It would work like him summoning small undeads from his passive via dealing enough damage, who are affected by his abilities. that way he can be a lich character with his own version of the summoner.

Think you are definitely already on the right track for what nocturne does for vision. If you actually spent a chunk of time playing him, I think you would come to understand how powerful that all is and what it does to synergize with his kit. Because you want to 1v1 so much on nocturne due to the way his kid is set up, the alt really does just stop anybody from coming to help the person you are skirmishing with. This is especially effective in certain matches and against certain champions like Shen or soraka. Two champions? Who kind of cheese their way to victories. But Shen can't alt somebody randomly if he doesn't know they're getting jumped or he would waste it, and soraka can't hold. If she doesn't know somebody's actually going to die or she might miss time it and they just die anyways. You can actually use your nocturnal to force a lot of bad objective calls and low elo as well, because by the time a stupid bronze or silver player realizes that they were getting Baron but you blacked out the map so they didn't hear or see you taking an entire tower and in him can really take over a game completely. It's a very interesting ultimate that definitely gains power just from the solo queue environment itself.

Karthus I'd argue is necessary the way he is, he's like the opposite to a champion like Raka, who heals globally, or a shen who can shield/teleport acrossed the map. His ult being what it is, is so important to that character to work at all.

For karthus maybe his passive should be when a enemy champion dies near karthus he can bring them back to life for a few seconds and they fight for him the champion can only auto attack and can be killed and if the Rez champion is killed karthus is healed for his missing health I don’t know if that would be to much but I think it would fit him

Issue for Kalista is she is the only adc that has a direct nerf to her auto attacks only that has not been reverted. In 5.13 Martial Poise - Attack damage of basic attacks reduced to 90% AD from 100% AD. which is her first hard dip in play rate in 2015 then she started to pitter out as jihn and xayah came out and had bit of spikes when major changes came out but im betting the nerf i listed is the big reason why she never sticked anymore, pros loved her for the hop and rend

-Kalista: I think Kalista needs two big changes to pretty make her a fantastic champ. Firstly, I would make it so her Sentinel works like a Thresh lantern. Allow her to port back to it within a defined range, with a massive cooldown. That will allow Kalista to prep for a fight to stay safe, but if used at the wrong time or wrong location; she becomes as helpless as she is now. I would also change her Ult since she would have the ability to port away from bad engages. I would change her ult to be a passive where if you kill a champion with Rend; it shots out spears in 8 directions that if they hit another champ, they receive half the spears that were present in the champ that got killed and are slowed. It essentially turns the champ that Kalista Rends into a shrapnel bomb. It gives Kalista a little (or a lot) of AOE, but then allows her to have damage frontloaded if she hits anyone else. -Karthus: I don't really have too much to say about Karthus. The only thing I really don't like about him is that he's able to freely cast his ult after he dies, and you can't stop it. If they made it so you can't cast ult after you die; I'd be fine but that's just a hard nerf honestly. So to offset that, I'd double up on the idea of Karthus gaining the souls of dead champs to fit the necro theme. So I'd have it be where if an ally champ dies before Karthus, it'll leave a soul orb on the ground that Karthus can break with his abilities; and it will add stacks for every soul he collects to empower his abilities until he dies and allow him to cast his ult while in his death passive. That way if Karthus is the first to die in a fight, he loses most of his pressure and damage; while incentivizing the enemy to focus him in a fight. That will force players to actually play Karthus like you would a normal mage where staying alive as long as possible is key. -Noc: I would love for them to double down on the nightmare concept. I think they should change his passive to where every auto attack he hits against a champ reduces vision. Change Paranoia's fear from a tether to an ability where it's only useable against champs who are capped on his vision passive, and grant a damage increase on targets feared by Noc. That maintains the wide pressure of his ult, makes the fear a mindgame to counter, and allows him to still slice down and effectively isolate particular targets if they can't stop the auto attacks. -Tryn: He just sucks honestly. He's a massive stat stick with immortality. I think a better concept for the ult is to remove the invuln, and change it to essentially a multi-attack shield. Double down on the concept of needing max fury for max shields. Have it block like, 3 attacks max fury rank 1 ult and grow from there. That way he's not just invuln for 5 seconds, and champions with multi-hit attacks like Kaisa Q are hard counters; but still enables him to run down and/or dive champs that can't multi-hit him. That would also allow him to soak CC while trying to chase down/stick to enemies, while also enabling counterplay to it. -Cho: I honestly don't know what to do with Cho. Infinitely scaling champs are so weird. If you buff up his ult to make that his main focus, then you'll create a Juggernaut with crazy CC that will be able to eat even tanks with zero counterplay outside of hoping you win quickly. Which is already the problem with infinite scalers, but since Cho does true damage; it just pushes it to the extreme. If you change the focus from the ult, and just buff his CC; then you'd have to nerf his overall damage because as mentioned; 6 second knockup with a silence is already ridiculously strong CC from a Tank/Juggernaut that pretty much requires a true damage champ to deal with. I just feel like any change to Cho would be considered a hard nerf. If I was to do something, I would make it so his ult isn't just free true damage. I would take a page out of Varus' kit and make it so in order for the ult to do true damage; you have to hit them multiple times with Vorpal to gain stacks for the ult; and then have it do true damage based on percentage of max health based on the amount of stacks. That way he can't just knockup, silence, and eat any squishy in the game.

I have an idea for trynd you make it so when he is at max fury he gets a free ga. You slow down his dash maybe make it so he jumps in the air first. give him a small poke tool and swap the crit for more lifesteal. But make the ult just a Stat bonus instead of invincibility.

They could do a "Tahm Kench" with Chogath, and swap his R and W. W as an ult would be a much larger cone with longer silence, and R would be drastically nerfed in dmg and changed from true to magic dmg, but allowed for uncapped stacking on normal minions/monsters. However killing Champions/Epic monsters with it would give more health, and you could experiment with it dealing true dmg if the target is at 15%hp. Q has shorter range but it casts faster. E is reworked into a on-command semicircle swipe, recastable up to 3 times with 3rd cast dealing more dmg and/or briefly knocking up the enemy (Kinda like Mal'Ganis Q in HoTS). Think sth like this would be good enough before an actual rework hit.

I think if you turned tryndamere into a juggernaut you could keep his ult. So that would require giving up his blade spin. Then his extra stats are also more justified and he acts like a sort of mordekaiser but his ult instead makes him not die instead of forcing a 1v1 in the ring of death.

I think for Tryndamere, they need to change his W to something completely different maybe an AoE damage shout that marks champions in the radius and for the next 5 seconds, each attack gives him temporary AD. And for his ult, it could be like Troll Warlord's ult from Dota 2. Tryndamere cannot go back 1 health but during the duration he is uncontrollable and he MUST attack the nearest champion (and an enemy champion must be nearby to cast it) and maybe it consumes all of his Fury but he gains attack speed, movement speed, and lifesteal the more Fury is consumed. It would create counterplay like dashing and baiting an enraged Tryndamere into an unfavorable position and Tryndamere can use his Q and self-buffs just not Galeforce, Flash or his E.

8:30 which fiddlesticks did so much better I feel he should change into something else differently, yeah I love the paranoia part of the ult: the blackout not the dash, Ironcally I believe the dash removes the paranoia as it has the same mistakes jumpscares do: remove build up. Wouldn't it be more terryfing that instead of expecting him to come your way because you're the ADC, he can come from multiple angles and you don't know where he is on the map, leading to you having paranoia of where he could be, or where he's coming from.

Yes yasuo needs a target to Q to get his knockup but its 3.9 seconds long Range AOE knockup if he does. Velkoz knocks up and pushes away if the enemy is close. Taliyah can yeet you across a Lane. So yeah cho isnt the only one with an AOE knockup

Kog needs a rework, but he's in the VGU queue. A passive that the more he aa's, the higher the attack speed he gains per combat. So, by clearing things like barons and dragons, he can earn a lot of attack speed, but after he exits combat, he loses it. It would be nice if he could break the limit. And you need to make it not gain attack speed too fast so he doesn't obliterate things. And at lower levels, he would gain attack speed slower than at higher levels. This could replace his god-awful death passive, as it doesn't scale with anything he builds and just his level. And as bot learners gain less xp than everyone else, it's always weaker.

I think chogath is fine as is. His abilities do combo well and they all achieve the same purpose: zone control. I don’t think every champion needs a hyper specific gimmick that may require multiple ability slots to be enabled and not every tank needs to be engage focused.

I think that karthus passive is fine mostly. it's how people think about it and use it that is the problem. he gets a lot of kills so he gets a lot of gold resets so dieing isn't like Sion where you can gain more then the enemy because you are worth so little. his ult and E I think need the attention. his E makes him do more damage up close so why does the battle mage have this? and his r is self explanatory. idk how they could change him tbh as I don't play him so I don't know know what he would want to have.

I would rework tryndimere by P: you gain fury doing and taking damage. Fury increases ad. But abilities consume 25 rage. (No rage=weaker abilities, but can still use them.) Ticks down after a time Q: 3 empowered autos and gains speed W: gain armour, resist, and tenacity E: circle slash in place and healing for missing health. Lowers CD for each enemy. Ult raid boss. Gain health, ad, speed. Consumes all fury gives more stats for fury. Then gain 50 fury.

I don't mind trynds ult too much but I'm used to Kali in smite so that might be partly why. But with Kali at least she doesn't have a dash that can go through walls that reduces it's cd on each auto (+navoris) But the main thing I hate is the crit passive. If it was on a steroid of some kind, maybe id be okay with it. But losing lane because trynd hits 2 lucky crits in the first few levels just feels terrible.

I don't think tryndamere ult be that bad considering is practically the only defensive ability he has. The problem is not his invincibility, but that he ghots + galeforce + e and now you can't do anything about it. I think making that he can't use any other ability while he is enraged would be a good change. Then you'll only have to be careful when he is trying to approach you, and there's where you use your counterplay

As a support main, I honestly *hate* Nocturne. Short of having multiple hard cc abilities in my kit (Nautilus) , I almost never have the tools to save my adc from him while also peeling the enemy adc or enemy adc and support. I have to spend an entire spell on him that will not affect him and will give him attack speed just because waiting for him to use his spell shield means he just walks at my adc. I almost never get to counter pick him because I usually end up picking before him when he is played. He's a menace and I hate spell shields and cc on assassins.

I agree with the chogath idea, personally I like the idea of him as a sort of tanky juggernaut in a similar vein to a mundo, or sion especially given his ultimate and what it wants you to do vs other tank ultimates. If he had a more solid or reliable way to get into a team or force a fight it would go a long way. I really dislike the full ap assassin build it just doesn't mesh well to me with why I want to play him. I want to play a massive behemoth bug to be an unstoppable unkillable devouring beast, not a semi squishy burst mage. While I like his abilities I'm not a big fan of his current balance it feels cheesy and not super fair atm. So ultimately if they changed some stuff around make him a bit more fair, gave him some more defensive ability like damage reduction a shield or meaningful in combat heal, and either more damage like a traditional juggernaut like nasus or darius or a way to better engage/peel for the team for more tank direction I think they could give a bit more gameplay elements to feast as it can be a bit annoying that it's just a flat truedamage nuke but as long as they keep the objective control aspect to it I'd be fine with pretty much any change to it.

I recall u saying the problem with Karthus ult is the fact that it’s non-interactive so would that be a problem with Soraka’s ult as well ? Since Soraka ult does the same thing as karthus ult but the opposite, wouldn’t that make it sort of not fair as well since u don’t have to interact with your allies to use it while karthus ult doesn’t require u to interact with your enemies I’m curious if you have the same problem with Sion’s death passive as you do with Karthus. For karthus yes he has his global unmissable ult but he is also stuck in place, whereas for sion he’s able to move about and even use prowlers. But nonetheless both kind of incentivise you for dying.

About your nocturne idea: Vision is one of the things you really shouldnt fuck around with when designing abilities. There are loss of control CC spells that work wonderfully, everything from slows to stuns to knockups is perfectly fine and reasonable. While you might not be able to control your character, youre still able to "control" the game. You can still see things and react accordingly or plan ahead of what you want to do. Fucking with vision removes that on a meta level which is in my opinion a problem. At this point id like to offer a hypothetical: Riot releases a new champion, Ollfahr. Ollfahr is a Hextech Machinist who knows the ins and outs of all things hextech. His ultimate is very special. it has a huge 3 Minute cooldown and cannot be affected by any form of cooldown reduction. Its effect? It disconnects a player of your choice from the game. Just like every other CC spell in the game, effectively it prevents you from controlling your champion like a root prevents you from moving. In theory there is no problem with this ability, right? Its just another CC spell. But the method of how it works is probably ringing alarm bells in your head, isnt it? Same thing with vision. Invisibility champions are already a huge problem in the game, especially their interactions with other champions. Id like to remind everyone of the fantastic times of AP Twitch Yuumi times, both become invisible, yuumi can R you without you being able to do anything against it bevor Twitch blows you up with 5 autos and an E. Or Shaco and Tarics stun. you can get stunned out of nowhere without any counterplay to it. We really cant have more things in the game without counterplay to them. And fucking with vision does exactly that, its meta CC without counterplay.

Trynd shouldn't be able to just resist death outright, it needs to be conditional. maybe a grey health mechanic that shields him based on missing hp, and if he kills an enemy during the duration he heals for it's remainder, or maybe just a self cast Renata w - but the rest of his kit needs to change. Like Vars says he gets too much free stats.

Cho'gath not having a rotation/his abilities not working together is a REALLY weird point to make. Comet Cho is my best mid champ and his play pattern is to use the E slow through minions to secure your Q, which then guarantees your W. Obviously weak to champs with disposable dashes (hey, maybe the rework could just be making his Q's windup apply grounded xd), but against most mages you could even take Electrocute because it's a reliable combo in those matchups. But then I'm a weirdo who's favorite champ is Shyvana that everyone else in these comments is crying for a rework, so who knows. Hint for everyone thinking only half her kit is relevant at any one time: build tank Shyvana. She was the literal best Radiant Virtue user back when it gave bonus CDR (alongside pre-nerf Embrace) and still is a great brawler that gets to run people down with all her abilities with Jak'sho/Hearsteel/Iceborn.
