I can really imagine your idea of his ult having a teamfight/solo variant working super well. What if when allies are near, tryndameres ult shields himself and his teammates, and when he’s alone he gets that iconic immunity to death

Man I loved this idea so much, going from a cliche barbarian, to a full leader, king of a tribe in some sorts and a great warrior like his lore gives an idea of how he is. I just loved the idea so much.

If riot ever manages a mechanic where Trynd can change forms depending on whether he mostly fights alone or not without being too much like kayn's mechanic would be really amazing to see.

Absolutely fantastic stuff. Trynd, Jax, and Yi are like the trifecta of OG dudes in league for me, I have a lot of expectations for each of them when they finally decide to update them visually (in some cases 'again') but I think this would meet those expectations.

I really especially liked liked your idea of the story behind him, and how it would be in his game play. Made Tryndamere convey to the player that he has a reason for being mad.

It's very unique, keeps his splitpush identity intact, and adds an interesting element to team fighting. I'd love to see it on the pbe. Nice art, I was thinking of a similar Trynda, except: 1) the scar should be on the abs (like Kratos) so as not to be confused with Aatrox's other nemesis champion, Pantheon who also has a scar on his chest 2) the weapon is cool but I think the original edge is iconic, I also see this weapon has an ex-darkin weapon like Blue Kayn with an empty center where a giant gem is filled 3) even if green is the color of his tribe his power shouldn't just be red, it should be FIRE red and yellow like a demon Good video suscribed and make a part two with a Darkin Tryndamere or just the Demonblade skin

The idea of making Tryndamere having links to the Iron Boar is amazing! I love it! Personally, I am always wondering if we gonna see him or some avatar/shaman who follows him, and that was a amazing link. Also, I really enjoyed all the outfits you made for him, the whole result plus the process was fantastic to watch. And something I always think looking at Tryndamere current arts is that his helmet could be similar to Aatrox, perhaps a mark the darkin let on him, forcing Tryndamere to forever seeing Aatrox in his own shadow, in his own reflex.

The huge hooks at the ends of his sword would make for a cool ability. A slower Darius Q where you choose what direction to spin and he hooks onto the first 2 champions hit and moves them in the circle for X.X seconds until skill ends or you cancel. So you could reposition the enemy behind you to get them away from team or tower or swing them closer to jungler or just spin them in a circle for full duration while team hits them. Not a full suppression where they cant fight back so they could be smacking Tryn in the face or shooting at allies while spinning but they cant run away. Would show off the weight of his sword and Trynds extreme strength.

I want to imagine that his sword is acting as a conduit for his power from the Iron Boar, it's stronger than his other arm because its directly connected to said conduit and thus has more magic in it. One way that you can emphasize the arm is by heavily armoring the left arm, and leaving the right bare with tattoos that glow brighter the more *Rage* he has accumulated in game, changing colors when he's maxed out. I'd say a nice teal like the gem in the sword would be good for non-maxed out rage, and a deep crimson when it is maxed out. A very obvious "He's stronger now" kind of glow. You putting a big armored pauldron on the left arm works beautifully for this idea. The scarring should instead be further away from his right arm, however. I believe since she's stopping him from death and healing his wounds, the closer it is to the sword in which he's receiving such a blessing from would be less damaged. It would also accentuate the tattoos better if he wasn't scarred overtop/underneath them. Now for the sword itself's design, I prefer the one-side is a blade shape, but I like your general design for the visuals of it. The entire sword being inlaid with the teal coloring works nicely into the concept I've written above about it being the conduit and changing color the stronger the connection gets. Overall, cool designs and a nice video.

Nice video, I appreciate more this version, seems a bit like gatsu from berserker but i wouldn't define it as copy, i imagine all berserkers tend to have a similar path in their characterization, somewhat of a convergent evolution. hope to see more videos like this. GG

my head cannon theory is: iron boar = iron = blood it makes all the more sense since reworked udyr's new w is connected to hp and shield right. it would be cool too if trynd's sword grows bigger with stacks the more he bleeds monsters/champions my personal take on his new kit is passive: grants tryndamere stacks, enlarging his sword over time, granting bigger skill radius, more crit, and more lifesteal over time. his old q is also now in his passive, automatically healing him consuming his full rage meter when leaving out of combat or gaining a distance away from the enemy (using e to escape) Q: I want new Q to deal stacking bleed over time, refreshing cd the more enemies hit with his skills. single target bleed that may apply crit W: I want new W to be a wide radius warcry that deals aoe damage and ofc a slow E: is still the same but skill is now refreshable with each kill, but ofc a shorter distance R: is the same

Design take (if you don’t mind): The concept is really cool, and I’d love to see a rework like this. Especially in game, when he goes rage mode, it would be cool to have a minor visual effect that tells players when he is in rage mode, similar to how Aatrox pulsates a red aura (which would honestly be a cool to have connection with Tryn and Aatrox). The only design take I have though is the weapon. While it’s super cool looking on paper, the weapon itself doesn’t, in whole, feel imposing. Tryndamere’s weapon is essentially a Broadsword, which serves two functions: cutting/slicing off limbs and dealing heavy blows to armored opponents if used effectively. Broadswords are purely offensive weapons that don’t allow for much defense. With that in mind, the weapon design doesn’t present the wielder as a fierce warrior but more of a guardian or protector. When implementing the nature of the boar into the weapon, it would be imperative to remember that boars are offensive creatures which pairs with the fighting style of the broadsword user, so a weapon who’s blade stretches along the ground like a shadow with the sharpness to hack off body parts would suit the brutish nature and make tryndamere more imposing. The current design feels blunt and carries to much resemblance to nautilus’ anchor not really making him stand out as much. Also, the weapon itself is not good for combat or for hauling around. In combat, the tusks of your blade will break upon impact with a sturdy object rendering part of the blade defective, and with the way Tryndamere drags his weapon around, the blade would be easily hooked onto nearby terrain or he would have to hold it at an angle where he would have to adjust the blade in order to defend himself which isn’t practical for someone of Tryndemer’s ranks. Not only that, there is too much weight in the front to control the blade, but the blade design isn’t too far off from broadsword requirements that a whole lot needs to be altered. Since you wanted to implement the boar into the weapon, a design that would meet the broadsword requirements would be bringing the tusks back making the tips almost touch the blade and making the point of the blade more curved to allow easier access through tissue and muscle fibers. Having the tusks be brought back as well provides better control over the blades tip and even distributes more weight across the length of the blade allowing for easier swings. I hope this didn’t feel like I was bashing your design, I really like the idea of having this Tryndamere for future games :)

As Tryndamere OTP since s6/s7 I never considered rework until I saw this video. Amazing.

The dual forms is such an interesting idea. I could see riot not wanting to go that way though because in order to use his kit properly it would involve your team not gigatrolling you by standing near you - which could be very frustrating to play with/against. Super design tho

His design reminds me of guts from berserk. I always had the idea of aatrox combined, losing an arm having it replaced with Kleds shotgun. When you press R it activates the armor of dd from berserk.

I think Tryndamere's moves don't need to be changed too much, Q and W can improve the attack type, E doesn't need to be changed too much, and R can be more mobile, the module update is a must, I am a player and fan of Tryndamere, looking forward to it Tryndamere works 🙏

This is fantastic! Tryndamere went from "some guy" to someone who would realistically be super important to the world he's in. Absolutely LOVE the Demigod and Darkin motif and am now sad he isn't official. Would really want to play as a team based CC tank who can still hold his own when pushing.
