This song always reminded me of the bad divorce that I went through with my childrens mother in 2013. We hated one another for years and she got caught up in drugs somewhere along the line which allowed me to get custody of my kids. Out of nowhere about 3 months ago she called me to apologize with sincerity for her part of what happened between us and I did as well. She overdosed 2 weeks before Christmas and im strangely lost in the turmoil of my emotions.

This is one of the few songs that'll never get old to me.

This song is amazing, I never thought I'd get it until now. I just had a girlfriend of 3 1/2 years destroy everything I am as a person and this song somehow manages to ease yet exemplify the emotional scarring. To the people who say music like this is for pussies, it's not, it helps some people get over events in their lives and prevents others from doing drastic things, like committing suicide. To me, it helps me realize that I'm not the only one who has to deal with shit, so everybody needs to stop hating on others for the kind of music they listen to and just do their own thing. Whatever makes you happy, go do it, don't knock others down because you don't like their life choices.
