I found Francesca so funny!!! Especially at Tribal Council when Philip couldn't say her name correctly! Her comedic timing is perfection! I wish we'd see Fran in a season WITHOUT PHIL SHEPHERD. He was her undoing both times. I don't know why he hated her so much. I loved her.

That one wasn’t really coldblooded nor was it a blindside. It was pretty telegraphed the zhan hu alliance was sticking together, so the boot was going to be either James or aaron, and considering that Aaron had better connections on the other side and had good leadership qualities to lead the opposing alliance against them, they chose to vote him out over james who lacked most social skills. Fact of the matter is aaron and James knew it was one of them so I don’t really see that as cold nor a blindside

LMAO "Officially" because he thought he'd get no jury votes unless he made a huge move, and his "huge move" was giving up immunity to Natalie to get Cirie to trust him enough to vote Parvati out (to show that he was "committed" to a final 3 alliance with him, Natalie, and Cirie. And he badly wanted Parvati out because he thought she was the biggest threat to win if she made the- as they thought it would be at the time- Final 3). Unofficially though, it was simply an emotional (and frankly, pretty sexist) decision, based around his own insecurities of the women not liking him and them rightfully calling him out for the way he had disrespected them over and over again earlier in the game! First off, I'll start where he accidentally reveals this in his post-boot interview. He mentions that he doesn't have a lot of experience with women, they never talk to him, and hearing the women absolutely thrash him for lying over and over again and making conflicting alliances (which, to be fair, they were right about. Not as a life goal, but even in gameplay, he constantly told clear untruths to non-allies in ways that made it *obvious* he was trying to "blindside" them, which made even his own former alliance members angry for giving their games away, and it quickly became truly obvious how awful of a player he was outside of being a physical threat. And yes, even *I* felt a bit insulted just *watching* it. I can only imagine how the women felt hearing him so blatantly lie to them as if he thought they were complete idiots who'd actually believe such ridiculous non-truths) put him over the edge and made him so emotionally insecure that he felt like he needed to "redeem" himself (like, he thought it would make up for it all and make them not as angry at him? If you're thinking that's ridiculous, that's because it *is!* Can you tell that this guy "doesn't have a lot of experience with women?")! But yes, going off the "not having experience with women," this was shown multiple times throughout the season in some of the weirdest and most uncomfortable ways. There was his insecurity at seeing Ozzy get "a lot of love" from the women (yes, Ozzy was extremely popular with his female tribemates. Even his non-alliance members loved him personally). There was his dumbstruck drooling gaze every time there was a topless woman around (not only his tribemates simply taking a bath, but also on a reward, they visited a tribe where all the women were topless, and he acted so awkwardly around them that his tribemates became extremely uncomfortable. There was also a similar moment when, on another reward, Ozzy went to shower with two of his female tribemates and Erik was staring at them the entire time in one of the most uncomfortable scenes on the show I've ever witnessed. I literally had to turn away, I felt so uncomfortable watching)! And yes, of course, he often talked to the women like they were children, telling them obvious lies that you'd have to be 5-years-old to believe. And yes, all at the same time, he was clearly insecure about the fact that the women found him so awkward and would constantly avoid him (causing him to basically say anything to get them to like him, including the obvious lies to non-alliance members- again, no strategy there. Just simply, "if I say this, this woman will be happy, and I desperately need that for my own insecurity"). So yes, by that point in the show, it had become abundantly clear to his female tribemates both how little he understood (and quite frankly, respected) them, as well as how insecure he was around them! Of course, they still didn't believe he'd actually give up his immunity necklace despite all of it, but they *did* figure he might do it purely out of emotion (and yes, Parvati said a quote that, though it wasn't *exactly* this, you can virtually paraphrase it to, "if we really pile onto him about this at tribal, it might push him over the edge and make him actually do it"). So yes, they gave it a shot, and ultimately, it worked! Erik even said in his post-boot interview that he hadn't decided yet on doing it upon arriving to tribal (and was on the side of not doing it), and that that brutal calling out by all four of the remaining women made him feel like he needed to "win back some favor" (which upon first listen made it sound like he was saying he was trying to win back some favor from the jury, but I'm starting to think he meant from *those four women.* Based on his awkwardness all season, I think he actually grossly admitted there, "I did it because I desperately wanted these women to like me to absolve my own insecurity")! So yes, in short, sexism is why he did it. He didn't truly respect them as women, he acted inappropriately around them, he got called out by them for it, that made him feel insecure (in a way getting called out by another man didn't seem to bring out the same insecurity), and all of that combined to make him behave in a way that was truly nonsensical in every way! Frankly, as awkward as it was to watch, I'm glad he did it! I agree with Probst when he said, "Now that is what you call a *life* lesson!" I felt like, in that moment more than any other moment in his life, Erik truly learned about how important it is to respect women and treat them as (adult) human beings!

Bc of how close Baylor and Natalie were and Baylor knew about natalies idol and trusted her. And they wanted to go final 3 together. I think missy was more pissed than Jaclyn bc Jaclyn was so happy to work with Natalie on that vote even if Baylor was more unlikable, the Jon one was more of a common good blindside and Baylor was more of a plot twist

He said what he said. Natalie preyed on Erik's EMOTIONS in order to get him to give her his immunity at F5 -- hence, EMOTION-front property. She made him think that by doing so, he would make up for an earlier broken trust between them. Cirie not only suggested it, but gave Natalie the talking points she used to manipulate Erik.
