I can't imagine the insurance companies are very understanding when you tell them that you drove your vehicle out onto frozen ice, and fell through.

Probably not covered ! It's an exclusion. Just like when someone runs from the cops...high speed chase... isn't covered by insurance... it's going to ALL Be on you.... including ALL damages to ALL other vehicles and property

I go to the frozen food section, I always get my fill, I never have to buy bait, I can't fall thru the concrete floor, I can get saltwater fish, freshwater fish, and I've never even gotten my feet wet let alone dropped a vehicle thru anything! A little risk/benefit assessment would solve this problem! $60k truck,$40k camper on lake ice, with 10,000lbs combined weight! What could possibly go wrong? No sympathy!

I had to drive through an ice covered puddle in the grocery store parking lot. My car fell through and dropped at least a half inch but I managed to get it out.

insurance probably doesn't cover this in any situation....where an owner takes a vehicle onto the ice

@@N2.W8S there are insurance providers that will cover incidents like this, although I am not sure of the camper being covered.
