Are you removing the whole of the internals in this or just the DPF? This unit also has the catalytic converter core in it at the top does it not? Removing the whole lot would make the car stink like an old diesel truck.

Also would he not have to have the dpf mapped out ?

I empty the whole thing and yes offcourse i Get it mapped of😊 But doing just this job yourself Will save u alot of money especially in Norway 😉

No way you got the DOC out by this method .especially in this timescale. Its hard enough with whole thing off , without slicing open the body it takes a few hours getting it out a bit at a time and due to the turbo 90 degree side being offset you need to watch your 450mm drill or chisel doesnt puncture top side of exhaust. For anyone doing the dpf only this method be aware of the DOC above it if you dont want that damaged.
