Today we will share a repair case of an iPhone 12 that won’t turn on. After multiple attempts to turn on the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 still won’t turn on. We have excluded the possibility of the display assembly and battery faults, so we speculate the cause is the short circuit of the motherboard. To find the faulty part, we have used the latest infrared thermal imager camera that differs from the complicated rosin detecting. Let’s check it out!

No need at all, most of the caps aren’t needed at all, they only smooth out the voltage and do very little for the functionality of the device

Not that simple. Heat on a component doesn’t mean that component is shorted. It could be from somewhere else.

That's why they take the measure of The diode. If it stand anormal, there was another problem, but it got a normal measure after removing The capacitor.

Use Seek Compact Pro with Macro Lens and you find short quickly and with better image. You will see exactly the component that produces heat and is assumed to be shorted.

What is the difference between this thermal imager and the more well known one from Qianli/iRepair? Why would someone choose this one over the other? Does is have a better resolution or framerate for example?

So you remove the capacitor, close the motherboard-up, and switch the phone on, and everything just works? ....i think you missed a step lol

Lol you don’t have a clue of what you are saying, on the main lines like vcc_main, if a cap is shorted, you can or not replace it, why is this, the caps tend to go from line to ground, so the cap just give the “bridge” to ground, so if you don’t replace it the line travels to another cap with ground

@@mauriciogonzalez5891 i never said it wouldn't work, the point is it's supposed to be there, you could remove, and/or replace all kinds of components, and totally butcher the circuit board, doesn't mean it's safe or desirable......or are you saying you're more qualified then Apple's electrical engineers, and Apple are wasting time, space, and money, on capacitors that aren't needed ?

Bez jednego kondensatorka ma nie działać? Skądś ty janek się urwał.. Zgodnie ze sztuką powinien go wymienić (możliwe, że wlutował, ale nie na wizji, bo to nic ciekawego), ale w tej linii jest ich sporo więc bez niego też telefon będzie działać.

@@cjjuszczak Jak tacy ci inżynierowie dobrzy to czemu tyle bubli wyszło spod ich rąk? Moim zdaniem są tak dobrzy, że cała seria ip7 z powodu źle zaprojektowanej płyty głównej nie powinna trafić do sprzedaży.

I know this company that the owner try attract customers for refurbushed iphone lcd,i have his emails. Because the condition was empty from competitor produce some tools and after machines. But know there are a lot of brands with 30% lower than rewa price and so much better technical support. When understood buy long list from them as refirbushed machines,that most of them was extra.after pay money they donot reply,even dont send some video. I put their machines in stock for our new year and fire in celeberate days and show the brand even for one tools each moth call and ask every things are ok Introduce them to my collegues
