I had tried everything and nothing worked for 2 weeks. This video finally fixed my issue!!! Turning off my ear detection momentarily and then turning it back on and my right one now works!!!!

*fixed mine by* 1. cleaning the case and the metal 2. throwing my pods many times but not too hard. also the case i dropped it many times. 3. i placed my pods back by pressing it down in the case for minutes. (hard pressed) 4. i charged it with original charger for 2 hours. and then it worked! hope that helps

Apple probably did something with the software. My left AirPods 1st gen starting to loose charge quickly after a new os was installed on my iPhone. From one moment to the other. It was strange.

Just forget the device first and press the reset buttons for upto 15 second. This really fixed issue of one side only playing. Thanks bro.

to people who still havent solved this issue. i have another solutions and it really works for me as only my right airpods is charging 1. get your airpods inside something 2. pour water over it example i put my airpods in a container and i pour water over it. IT REALLY HELPS

Apple definitely has a kill switch that screws all their old devices when a new one comes out. There’s no other explanation.

Best way to make work both of yr airpods is just connect yr airpods to phone then go to the app Find My in yr apple phone where you will see yr connected devices there like yr phone and yr connected yr airpods then tab on yr airpods and tab play sound then the beep sound will play in yr connected buds then do one thing there is an option comes play left stop play right when you tab play sound then you have to tab on that left or right bud which is not working the after trying couple of times you will see yr both earbuds works suddenly

This is a same problem with Powerbeats pro .. one side shuts down in 5 mins even when the battery says 55% . Apple says replace the entire one side piece for a whopping 11k which is obnoxious when the entire set is at around 21k I bought it for workout worked only for 1.5yrs and now it’s junk !

Guys if u have problems with your pods, not charging or not blinking, just open the bottom of broken one, and pull up the contacts (plus and minus) on top, just enough to have contact when charging in case. Then back the plastic what you removed before, and try to charge it. This method works for me. Good luck.. 🤗
