i got a redmi note 11 yesterday and run to this video cause i had the same problem! tried everything and at the end i gave up. then i realised there was a settings icon in the theme app. when you open the app, go to your profile tab and it's on the top right corner. i turned on "apply themes colours" (or smth like that, mine's in spanish so i dunno if it's like that but it's the first option) and VOILA, PROBLEM SOLVED. I couldn't believe the answer was that easy, smh

It doesn't work anymore. For some reason the option to change the notification center is disabled on my MiUI 14 (Redmi note 12).

its not a fixed, its just and alternative solution to get that blur effect and with that you are bound with same lock screen or homescreen wallpaper as soon you change these wallpaper blur effect get removed

Unfortunately, custom wallpapers are only supported by default lock screen which will have a grey background, so I don't think there's any other way as of now

@@Browndroid yes you can customize wallpaper when using custom lockscreen, but you need to do renaming stuff and reapply the theme, not instant but works
