Thank you for this video! Was able to fix my old LG washer by replacing the door lock. The de2 error code went away!

I hope I never have to do this repair on my LG WM4000. But if I do, you can bet I'm going to at least TRY to follow your instructions and fix it myself before calling a repairman!

now do this with stucked door without possibility to open it manually by pulling the plastic latch above the filter😂

My lock is clicking a few times before the de2 error shows up. Does that still mean the locking mechanism needs replaced? Or does that point to something else?
