I wanted to take the time to thank you. I have the same dryer. Had it for about 3 months.. and then it stopped heating. 😫 Did some basic research and decided it was either the thermal fuse or the thermostat itself. I found your video and followed it step by step and I was able to replace both and my dryer is back!! Thank you again!!

Glad I could help! If the thermal fuse is the culprit it can be normal wear and tear or a restriction in the dryer air vent.

Is it plugged in when you are checking the Ohms?

No. There is no need to have a power source when checking ohms.

The power source is the battery in the volt ohm meter that makes the meter work. Before testing in ohms you can touch both meter probes together and the meter should read 0 or 1 ohm. If working properly.
