Yes it's all good and stuff but how can I do that with severe ptsd and panic attacks, I mean I can't even clean my house sometimes. I'm just staring into empty space without even being present in the moment, and no treatment isn't an option anymore after 16 years of treatment, drugs is all I get.

I did this like 10 years ago. Sitting in a jail cell. Told myself when I got out. I was gonna live with my grandparents. And start a job back at the machine shop I worked at. And buy myself a car. Which I did shortly after starting to work. They started me as a cnc saw man. Controlled the whole saw shop by myself. Now nearly 9 years later. Come June I'll have been at that machine shop. 9 straight years. And I got rid of that first car I got. And finally got my dream car! All blacked out inside and out as well! And I'm proud to say. I overcame many drug addictions. Been clean manyy many years now. And even more proud to say. I'm a father, to the absolutely most amazing baby boy you could imagine! Feb. 23rd, he turned 5! He's my light, my love, and my life! God bless you all! Sending love and light to all who reads this!

Awesome and from the perspective of a professional boxer spiritual warriorship is the ultimate key to succeed. A warrior takes responsibility for EVERYTHING right or wrong with their world. They do not blame others but rather see their place in the grand scheme of things. They don't complain when things are tough but rather they assess their playing field and apply strategy. They value strength, honor and compassion above all else and understand we are all part of a spiritual dance having human 3D experiences but we are connected to a higher and greater source. With this mind-set you cannot help but to succeed.

Mike's words really resonated with me...as I watched, it occurred to me that for the majority of my schooling life I'd had a fixed mindset. Even now, at a major crossroads, I both subconsciously and consciously have it DESPITE knowing it is backwards and wrong and disempowering. 'Be centred in your truth.' 'Only good things happen to me.' Thank you, Mike Rashid (and AfterSkool!). These are words I not only needed to hear, but learn. Apply. Thanks for keeping it real.

We can’t ever stop learning! I love learning. Thank you for this one After Skool. All your videos are so well done, and leave me in a thoughtful place, where I integrate more information and perspectives. Your videos help me in my growth, which is why I keep coming back to watch more! But this one especially is timely. It arrived this week, after I said good bye to my 101 year old Granny. 😔 She lived a century of stuff, the likes I’ve never seen, (but am starting to see) and she NEVER blamed anyone! She loved celebrating life and she was kind and always grateful. She could be a rascal sometimes too which made her all the more lovable. I am sad she’s not in this world anymore, but so grateful she was a part of my life. Having lived a century, she’s really given me something to aim for, which, for me, at 5 decades, means I’ve got work to do. I’m game. 🙂 Thank you for the work you do here and the messages of encouragement you share. 🙏🏻💜🙏🏻

Probably one of the best of your videos by far. I resonated with everything so well it was crazy. I was just released from prison two weeks ago and I'm working a humbling job as well but throughout my whole experience I made and continued to make a conscious decision within myself to do better and work harder than the day before. Train my body and my mind. Be kind and respectful. Take responsibility as well as accountability. Respond never react. Love and never hate. I love everyday by my morality and I'm choosing to be a student everyday in this classroom called life so Thank you. I appreciate your videos. This happened about a decade ago but the trip was so impactful that I'll never forget it. I'll go to my death contemplating it. I haven't shared this trip online before so here we go. The trip is atypical because it's a positive one, whereas most Salvia trip reports tend to be quite dramatically negative. This trip profoundly increased my overall positivity and outlook on life since that day. It's also the reason why until very recently I haven't done any psychedelics at all, I felt I've had enough for a lifetime after this. This was Salvia 60x or 80x, I can't remember which but it was powerful stuff. I smoked it a few times prior, about 10 times altogether, but I always took very gentle hits and what seemed to happen was that reality shifted into something else for a brief moment, and then back again. For example, one time I smoked it around a table with some friends, and suddenly the entire scene transformed into something where we were all on some kind of beach near the ocean, I looked to the right at one of my friends and he was wearing one of those old marine captain hats, and he kinda winked at me like a cartoon character. Then reality morphed back to normal as quickly as it transformed. I had a couple of this kind of trips with short but still potent changes in perception. The last time I smoked it, it was different. I was alone this time, and I had enough for 2-3 strong hits. I packed my pipe to the brim and lit up my torch lighter, really dedicated that this time I'll feel something stronger than just a little tease of an effect. So I somehow managed to take about 3 gigantic hits and put the pipe down. What happened next is hard to convey into words, because words don't do it justice and never will. A very powerful voice, which seemed to be coming from the back, and the power of which seemed to make the entire world vibrate with enormous force, basically said to me, "hi, I'm Salvia". I don't think it happened in spoken language but I could understand everything being said with crystal clarity. It felt like telepathic download. There was absolutely no ambiguity in what was being said and even though the transmission was an alien experience to me and I struggled to get to grips with it, I still understood everything with extreme lucidity. The voice said something like this. "Well, you know, every single thing has a spirit. At the core of everything is a specific spirit whose natural expression is that certain thing." This "voice" then went on to provide me with a very specific example (I know all this because after the trip I wrote all of it down). It said, "if you eat an orange, the taste that you feel in your mouth, is the communication with the spirit of the orange!" This was very specific, I thought. Then the voice went on to say "well, you just smoked me, and I'm the spirit of Salvia, so this is what communication with me is like!" What happened after this is impossible to describe and I only really have a very shaky mental picture of it because my ego simply cannot even formulate or begin to formulate any kind of description that would fit the experience or uncover even the surface layers of just how unbelievably alien it felt. What happened was I felt as if two enormous hands lifted me from my body, and I went up, up, up through the stratosphere, through the layers of the multiverse, through some kind of membrane and some type of superdimensional, non-euclidean hyperbolic weirdness of hard to describe proportions, until I basically landed in nothing, and there was nothing but love and nothing there. Love and nothing was the content of this place, and there wasn't even me, I didn't exist there, I just somehow was part of this love and this nothing. And what's more is it lasted forever, as far as I can tell. I don't know how I ever got back to my body, because from what I could tell, this was forever and this is just how things are and always were - there's love, infinite love of unconditional and deeply profound nature, and there's absolutely nothing, and those are the only two things that exist. I know this sounds paradoxical because how can "nothing" exist as a thing but that's how it felt. It was infinite nothing and infinite love in every direction. When I did get back to my body, it felt like I was slowly descending back into my body and I remember I had some kind of an energetic parachute that attached to my front rather than my back, and was made of what I can describe as two enormous rings on each side of me that extended through another reality back into our own. If you've ever played MDK games, it was kind of like that parachute, except it was glowing red, and it was on the front of me, and there were only two circles instead of four. I remember specifically looking at how the two rings at the far ends poked through some kind of membrane that separated this world and the one I just came from. This experience radically transformed my life. It permanently erased my depression and inspired me to be extremely creative. I've never taken Salvia since because I'm afraid it might modulate my life in a different way, or that I might experience the horrors that I keep reading about Salvia. I'm not sure it's worth the risk. That's my trip report. Regardless or not if you believe in the spirit world and the spirits or everything described here, you have to at least agree that the orange analogy is spot on. I've never thought before that the spirit of orange might express itself to you through the experience of eating it. Next time you taste an orange, remember you're communicating with its spirit. :)

Wow!! What a remarkable trip you experienced; thank you so much for sharing it!! I absolutely LOVE the idea that there is nothing but infinite Love and infinite Nothing. I've read many books by "enlightened" beings and spiritual masters, and many of them say similar things. The closest experience I ever had to yours was an out of body experience when I was a teenager while smoking marijuana. I was with three friends in the front seat of a small pickup and all of a sudden "I" was looking down from a vantage point high in the sky watching myself and my three friends in the pickup. The feeling and sense of "I" was ever-present, but I was looking at "my" body and feeling very confused because "I" felt completely like "me," and yet my body was down there talking and interacting with my friends. I didn't have any insights like you did, but I have never doubted that what we ultimately are is well beyond this physical form; and I also have an intuitive sense that what we truly are is ageless and timeless and beyond manifestation. Blessings of infinite LOVE to you!!

That's an Interesting encounter. Salvia has a reverse tolerance effect so the more times u do it the deeper it can take you.. I was gifted sum from my cousin that tryd with his buddies and all were scared away after 1st hit. I decided to take a hero dose one night after coming home really drunk, and can't remember a single thing about what happened. But a few days later I went to play a video game (need for speed most wanted ps2) and the whole game was completed with 5stars on everything.. turned out every game I owned was finished with all the accomplishments done perfectly! I still think about it almost 20yrs later and imagine if I could do that well at video games could i do life like the same way? In the back of my mind I still think I may just wake up and only a few minutes have passed in my other so called life.. there's definitely more to life than we've been told and taught, way more.

Truth and Respect. I enjoy the part where he said he took "humbling jobs". I know a couple of men out there that have been jobless for two or more years all because they think they are better than working at Target, or an oil change shop. Meanwhile they have no degrees or trade skills. Just start somewhere! I also like the point on perspective. It reminds me of the Matrix. "Don't try to bend the spoon. That's impossible. This is positive wisdom. I profoundly changed myself in a similiar way. Starting at the bottom, changed my mindset and worked on everything that was in my reach. I climbed and I found a new life. After this I had a wife and a house, friends and hobbies.. all concerning me was good and evolving and still is. Only thing is that years ago I got sick from a tick bite and have got no help from corrupt doctors. My life got destroyed and it has already taken years.. but still with this growth mindset Im moving and staying positive: studying health and trying to find a cure for my illness, while official health professionals try to put me on allopathic poison medicines that only reduce symptoms while i dont even have a diagnosis. Situation is sickening and my life have turned into sorrow, but I can only imagine how sad or paralyzed I would feel if I didnt have this mindset. With this mindset the sickness has evolved me; the vast amounts of knowledge I have accumulated has turned me into some kind of a healer/sage amongst other things. Im hoping that this time for me is like the prison cell was for Mike Rashid and I hope I will be healthy again so I can find a new life again.

Sent this to all my young adult children. As a parent who has had a growth mindset my whole life I made the error that it comes naturally to all people. I should have taught this more intentionally and explicitly to my kids. It doesn’t come naturally to all people. I want my children to develop growth mindsets.

Wow, and thank you. This gift is beautiful, powerful and deep yet accessible offering. From a personal perspective, I felt as if you were speaking directly to me, especially the part about bad spells. There’s so much negativity in my head that I’ve been in a downward spiral for years. You are an inspiration, sir, and I look forward to hearing about all the good things you’ll do in your life. Thank you so much, again.

There was once a farmer who owned a horse and had a son. One day, his horse ran away. The neighbors came to express their concern: "Oh, that's too bad. How are you going to work the fields now?" The farmer replied: "Good thing, Bad thing, Who knows?" In a few days, his horse came back and brought another horse with her. Now, the neighbors were glad: "Oh, how lucky! Now you can do twice as much work as before! "The farmer replied: "Good thing, Bad thing, Who knows?" The next day, the farmer's son fell off the new horse and broke his leg. The neighbors were concerned again: "Now that he is incapacitated, he can't help you around, that's too bad". The farmer replied: "Good thing, Bad thing, Who knows?" Soon, the news came that a war broke out, and all the young men were required to join the army. The villagers were sad because they knew that many of the young men will not come back. The farmer's son could not be drafted because of his broken leg. His neighbors were envious: "How lucky! You get to keep you only son". The farmer replied: Good thing, Bad thing, Who knows?".

This is probably the most profound thing that I’ve needed to hear thank you. I’ve been on a journey of healing and many role models have not hit that deep seed of raw experience so it’s heard and appreciated but your story is inspirational on deep level. Thank you for showing the fighters life in a expanded centered way! Not everyone is impacted by others words but the right people hear it in divine timing. Thank you again for courage to keep going!

This is pretty much the teachings of Christ. Prayer and fasting get rid of temptations and hate towards yourself and others. Extreme ownership for your failures. Reconciling with those close to you leads you to love. I needed these reminders to get my life back on track. Thanks Mike, may blessings come your way!

I saw so much of myself in this. Personal setbacks led me to having this fixed mindset you talk about, to the extent I stopped living a long time ago. I've wasted so much time being gripped by fear and loneliness, like a self-imposed isolation. I don't know who you are, I've never heard of you, but it's like you read me like a book. I was sceptical at the beginning, but I had tears in my eyes by the end. I want to say Thank You.

It's not what happens to you that counts, it's how you react that counts. A young man I've tried to help many times has blamed me for things that went wrong for him because of the times I didn't or couldn't help. I no longer try to help and he's making improvements on his own. He's not quite homeless. Stays with a couple other people, but they aren't able to help him other than letting him stay with them. Sometimes some need to get to the point they have no where to turn for help other than themselves.
