Fixing A DANGEROUS Exhaust Leak And A Leaking Rocker Cover! Audi A4 B5 BTCC Build Pt2

2 жыл бұрынSo the A4 had a pre-cat exhaust leak and I was coughing on the soot, getting headaches etc so I'm sure it was filling the cabin with toxic carbon monoxide. In this episode I change the cat and downpipe as the flexi-joint was rusted through.
I also change the rocker cover gasket as it was leaking oil into the spark plug wells causing a misfire!
Safe to say it runs beautifully now in comparison.

Thanks so much! Really wanting to crack on with the Laguna but life gets in the way! I think I did get a bargain with it, really decent car considering age and the 136k miles on it!

Rocker cover gaskets always go bad very fast lol, I have an A4 B5 1.8t, basically the same engine but with a stututu stuck on it, I have had to replace those twice already since I have that car....

Blimey what a pain! You know soon as you get the light misfire that it's oily coils
