I had a few gaps happening in my floating floor in the basement hallway, I used this trick to fix the issue, working my way from the gap to the wall. Very easy to do!! Suction cup purchased from a Home Depot for about $22.

Will you be putting a spacer or something at the end to prevent it from doing it again?

Will this suction work on Luxury Vinyl Planks??

You don't need any of those tools if it's luxury vinyl plank and it's not glued to the floor you can take your heel and kick it to the other pieces of flooring and it'll slide right into it. This method is more for laminate floors that are tongue and groove and have the lock blocks on the perimeter of the tongue. They're a b**** to have to move once the floor is completely together. For some reason if that doesn't work you can also take a 2 * 4 with double-sided carpet tape put it on the bottom Stick it to the plank you want to move and hit the 2 * 4 with a hammer until the Gap is tightened. You're going to need to be very gentle pulling up the 2 by 4 so you don't damage the flooring
