Hey what's up man. I know this is kind of off topic but, can you make a video on how to convert midi to audio?? Everything I try and do it with a melody there is a slight delay when it loops... it renders fine same tempo, I dont have to stretch it. But when it loops it doesnt loop as clean as the midi.

Hello man! Great video as always! Just a question: could you explain how is RBass working at 9:14? Is it the same of using an Eq and raise the volume around those frequencies? Asking because I don't have waves plugins. What plugin could be an alternative to do the same? thank you!

@@Enricii those are saturation plugins, they are different from what r bass does.

The DT 770’s are fire but they really amplify the high frequencies and it can become painful after a while if I’m not careful. The only way I can get my highs to sound good on earphones or car speakers is to just make sure they’re excruciatingly painful on the DT’s.

I’ve found them pretty detailed and a bit brighter than other pair, but I so far like them. Haven’t had high end translation issues yet personally. We shall see as more mixes go, then I can really have an opinion

As a suggestion try getting a boombap type beat to mix next time for some variation,,,solid video tho

Hey I have a doubt. This has nothing to do with hip hop but I'm having a problem because I don't know how to use a compressor properly. Yes I watched your video covering it but this is quite different (I think?) So the thing is: I made an heartbeat sound with 2 kicks(the first kicka little louder than the second one) and a filter to muffle the kick sound. Then I made a basic melody. After that while the hearthbeat and the melodies are in I putted a EDM type beat on the song and I can't seem to do it right. The EDM beat is clashing with the heartbeat. Is there any video covering that or can you give a suggestion?

Aren't the 990s more open? The 770s are good for recording. But they are not flat, because they are more closed. At least for fine tuning, they aren't the most neutral sounding theoretically. However I used them in my mixes.

My ath m50x are a bit closer to the ear, so you “feel the bass more” on those. These have some space so I’m getting used to the low end, but i’m liking them
